Condalezza Rice scares me, if she ran for president I would hide under a rock or something, her tteeeth. . .her teeeeetthhhhh

Anyways though i think any democrat would work just fine ^^ but admittedly I'd love to see the clintons in office again, I loved bill enthusiastically and would hope hillary would do as good a job as he

I really liked Bill Clinton also. There's a good chance I'd vote for Hillary if she ran. Depends on who she's up against. 2 more years of Bush ftl.

We now have a $230 billion a year trade defecit with China thanks to Wal-Mart and Bill Clinton. Thank him for losing hundreds of thousands of jobs to the Chinese then losing us $230 billion a year in trade. That shit only gets the CEOs rich, the working people lose their jobs over that shit. They can go work for Wal-Mart after they get laid off haha. Have you seen how many factories in the US have been closed since the trade agreement w/ China?

Bill Clinton wasn't a great president either, he wasn't even a good one. Operation Desert Fox was ok I guess, but the trade agreement with China was a huge mistake. WTF is with him and Gore and the Chinese anyway. Why doesn't he just become president of China since he likes to give them jobs so much.

Problem is he lied and said it would be beneficial to the US and that the Chinese would buy our goods. That of course was stupid to believe as they have no purchasing power. Instead we buy everything the Chinese make at Wal-Mart. I don't care if they have jobs or not over there to be honest. Their economy is starting to flourish because of this and we are losing jobs and money as a direct result.

Could John Kerry stand again lol? That sounds more like british politics, some people have stood several times to lead the Conservative party, and lost each and every one

The entire thing was pretty wierd. He introduced it through Republicans and got Billy Graham to endorse the bill if I'm not mistaken. Doesn't seem very Clintonesque. Still, that one piece of legislation doesn't make him a bad president. I think he was a very good president and can be used as an example of what a good Democratic leader can be.

I'd say that Hillary is unelectable because she's a senator and a woman, but this will definitely be the election where the question "can money get anyone elected?" will be answered.

well she stated as of now she has no plans of running yet because shes happy being senator of new york, but she admits shes given it thought and hasnt decided that shes not going to run yet in this election, but I honestly think she will because its really her last big opportunity, this would be the perfect time for her to run

as for her being a woman, I think thats what will get her elected- I mean 90% of women are going to vote for her just because they want to see a woman in office, and shes has a ton of money for campaigning, so i think she would win By far against whoever the republicans put out, especially with alot of the country getting tired of republicans because of the bush administration

But all the democrats look good from what i've read, Barack Obama I would love to see win, I also heard al gore is gonna run again in 08? not sure if thats true but out of everyone i've read about, I hope its either Obama or Clinton, and I think if either of those two run, they would win the presidency easily.

edit: but as much as i would hope america's racisms has faded, i know theres still alot of it here so unfortunately i dont think obama would stand as good a chance as hillary

First, it will probably be both and second, neither of them are even half as appealing as John McCain. Also, Hillary has been preparing to run for about a decade now. She has hundreds of millions in her war chest, but even then she was once considered a hawk democrat. As for not announcing her candidacy, that's because all of the big ticket candidates will announce after the holidays.

Don't watch Bill O'reilly. He's trash.

Hillary will definitely run in the next two elections. She's got more money that God and we'll see how much of a difference that can make. McCain is a very popular "anti-republican". He's a moderate who appeals endlessly to undecided voters. The only thorn in HIS side is that he's still very pro war.

He is but he doesn't represent the modern republican and very often breaks from party ranks. It makes him really appealing to democrats and undecideds.

To me for the democrats Obama is the best choice. He is a democrat but has a track line of running more moderate on issues. If you listen to him talk he is very articulate and a very smart man. Do I think he would make a good president, as far as a democrat choice yes.

I think the best chance for republican is Guilliani. The US has been a big fan of Guilliani even before 9/11. He is a strong leader and has proven it by running the largest city in the US. He was successful in dropping the crime rate in NYC, which is huge. He was able to garner large support for the entire city. When 9/11 came, he shined. He was able to pull NYC out of a huge disaster and helped get NYC right back on its feet.

I think McCain would also be a real good choice, but his biggest down fall in the publics eyese is his stance on Iraq, I am a supporter for increasing the troop size, but a large portion of the US is def. not lol. He may not be a hard liner republican but really people won't look at that. This next election is gonna souly be about the canidates stance on the Middle East.

Hillary, she will never will a presidential election. She may be a woman but I really don't think that would really help her at all but may end up being one of the thorns in her side. If she were to run, it would possibly go down as one of the ugliest election campaigns ever. Other canidates will nit pick everything about her and her past. They will delve into White water or w/e it was called. They will ask why she was never arrested yet everyone else associated it was and served prison time. Hell, one of them ended up commiting suicide over the whole ordeal.

Granted she has the funds to orgainze a great campaign, I really don't think all the money in the world could buy her a presidential election. Hillary was desinted for a polictcal career. Who ever she had married would have became a big wig in politics. She orchastrated Bill's campaign and made him president. But I don't think she would ever win the race. But I have been wrong before, but I really don't feel even close to being wrong at all.

I really think it will end up coming down between Obama and Guilliani and Obama would probally win. He will have the largest minority in the US behind him. He will be that person that can recognize will that group and it will help aide him in running away with the election. I am a republican and its who I will be routing for if he does run.

Giuliani has a VERY VERY scandalous past. It depends on how dirty the democrats want to get. Republicans as of late have been stooping that low very often, but democrats haven't been. If they do, it could be lights out for Giuliani.

Not to sound like a democrat (though I was when this thread was originally posted lol. I've taken alot of Polisci since then) but Kerry must be commended for staying fairly clean in thet 2004 election. Whereas the Bush camp fabricated the whole Swiftboat ordeal (they turned a vietnam vet hero into a traitor and a draft dodger into a hero) which was awful. I felt that the bush team played it far too dirty in 2004 (and in the 2000 primary against mccain). If Karl Rove has his way, I guarantee that slowly but surely the republicans will start a new tradition: calling opponents with their middle name. Why? Barack Obama's middle name is Hussein. Maybe a more moderate Republican won't do such things.

obama will probably be referred to as osama (and that middle name will get used too), not by candidates but by the hungry republican cannibals--the same ones that started up the whole "flip flop" bs against kerry

Out of all the candidates you're talking about I've only heard of Guilliani, Obama and Clinton. John McCain maybe if you include the brand of oven cookable home fried chips.

Comparing Guilliani to Bush on 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina well theres no contest, people will remember that as one of Bush (and his administrations) big failings against Guillianis greatest success.

Obama just seems really different to your typical US politician and I'd love to see how well he does.

Clinton has to carry all of the other Clinton's baggage with her as well, good and bad.
