Edwards finally gave up and Guiliani is gonna drop out. Huckabee won't gain enough momentum to catch the other republicans.

For republicans you get Mccain or Romney who will fight to the end, and democrats we get Clinton or Obama. Find out who you like, and get your vote on people.

I got a halfday today to see Obama speak in Phoenix along with our governor and JFK's daughter (who both endorse him). I'm excited.

Clinton destroyed Obama in Florida. I like how mad the Clintons got that the Kennedy's supported Obama lol. Anyone who gets that drunk piece of shit Ted Kennedy on their side, definitely doesn't get my vote.

Romney in the end won't win... he changed from pro-choice to pro-life and he is a Mormon lol. That is some John Kerry flip flopping shit right there. He was just pro-choice so he could get elected in Mass, which is a very sad comprimise for a supposedly religious person to do. All in the name of furthering his political career. No fucking way I can respect that.

McCain was tortured for how long as a POW? I don't see any other candidate undergoing torture like him and not revealing anything to the enemy. The other candidates would squeal like piggies.

Hillary was supposed to crush Obama in Florida, so that's fine. They didn't even campaign there.

I'm not going to vote based on endorsements lol. If I were gonna do that I'd be voting for Huckabee since he has Chuck Norris behind him.

Mccain is kinda liberal IMO with everything except the war and healthcare..which are sadly 2 important issues to me. I'm shocked more republicans don't dislike Mccain after reading his stance on issues. I'll bet he is going to be the republican nominee either way.

I really don't know with Hillary vs Obama. I'm anxious for the big vote on Tuesday.

More democrats voted in florida for hillary than john mccain and florida has a very diverse population, and such a large number of people voted. ofcourse its a bad thing for obama lol. It really shows his standing on a national scale: and its not very good. He won SC by such a large margin because of the black vote obviously, but he won't have that luxury in the upcoming states of cali, NY, ect. The latino vote becomes much more important, and hillary currently has the latino majority vote.

As of last ngiht i'd have said Obama is in trouble. But then I woke up and saw john edwards had dropped out, wich could be an issue for hillary because on a national scale john edwards was essentually splitting the anti hillary vote with obama. So obama could probably get a big boost from him leaving the race.

But then again on the issues, edwards supporters are more likely to go to hillary.

So its a big question on who he decides to endorse.

Hes talking about how the democratic party stripped florida of all its delegates for moving up the primary date, so the win there isn't worth much of anything aside from a " beauty contest"

But you can't ignore the millions of people who still voted on the democratic side, and worth delegates or not, it still shows their popularity among voters

Oh, already knew about that, thought there was more to it...it all leads up to Super Tuesday whether it's a beauty contest or not. I won't watch it though, I'll be too busy watching dumbed down shows like "moment of truth" and other shows that don't require my brain to really function but instead entertain me.

-edit- was just thinking that maybe a few of these candidates should have a debate on "moment of truth" now that would be great!

I just got home from Obama's speech in Phoenix. Colosseum (old PHX Suns stadium) was packed. Everybody was very social and I talked to a lot of interesting people. I was on the floor area and stood about 50' from him. It was so fucking awesome. He expressed his plans for the economy, foreign policy, immigration, jobs overseas, fiscal issues, education, etc, and bringing Americans together. He did such a great job, and there was so much passion from the audience it gave me goosebumps.

He had secret service people like fucking crazy. When he came down to shake people's hands afterwards, they were literally surrounding him behind the gate, while about 5 were in the crowd flanking the people he was shaking hands with and autographing books for (one of them shoved me out of the way hard). I heard he gets a lot of death threats.

You've been a supporter for this long and you've never heard his stump? I think I've heard every candidate's stump lol. It'd be cooler to be there, though.

No matter who gets elected, there is no way we are out of Iraq before their first two years in office are over (probably more). The faster we pull out, the worse the problems there are going to bite in the ass afterwards years down the line. That place is fucked either way though haha. I don't have any confidence in any candidate to do what is necessary in the war at all (even McCain). They have no balls. The region formerly known as Mesopotamia will always be our problem it seems lol.

Obama gets death threats for many reasons, one of which is that he is black (well some think he is Muslim still). The muslim paranoia might have to do with this: http://genealogy.about.com/od/aframertr ... _obama.htm

This is taken from it.

1 i. Barack Hussein OBAMA, Jr.

Third Generation (Grandparents):

4. Hussein Onyango OBAMA was born about 1895 and died in 1979. Before settling down to work as a cook for missionaries in Nairobi he was a traveler. Recruited to fight for colonial power England in World War I, he visited Europe and India, and afterward lived for a time in Zanzibar, where he converted from Christianity to Islam, family members said.

Religion doesn't matter anyways, the guy is probably an atheist lol. He is running with a religion just to get voters like most of them (other than Romney probably). I don't seriously think McCain is religious at all haha. In the end they are all politicians looking for a job, I don't trust any of them.

I don't see a wild claim at all. I think it is insane to think we are going to pull out so fast without any huge consequences.

I've an uncle who's lived/worked in Saudi Arabia for over a decade, he did military-esc work for their government and stuff way back during desert storm and stayed there to continue to help after the conflict. He was mentioning to me (Since he's back in the states now), about how very few people in that part of the world would listen to a woman leader. So on and so forth. So I'd be interested in seeing that aspect of reaction if Hillary was sworn into office.
