Yeah it started off as cartoon skit i think. I also think (IIRC) Mike Judge (the guy who did Bevis and Butthead and King of the Hill) was the guy who created it.

Although it wasn't a "spin off" persay, I would have included Anchorman as well. God, I love Will Ferrell.

Yeah I'd have to say Office Space since it's the only funny movie on the poll. It's a spin off of a Mike Judge cartoon for it but it was called Milton I think.

Should make a celeb jeopardy movie with trebek and connery plotting to kill each other or something.

Kinda just screwing with ponuh, but that would be funny nonetheless. ha

Its a strip of office buildings on Freidrich Lane, only a few streets away from where I work now.
Also, the scenes in "Chotchkie's" were filmed at the Alligator Grill (AWESOME food btw)

As another interesting note about Austin, they just finished filming Quinten Tarentino and Robert Rodriguez' movie "Grind House" near 42nd street, also pretty near where I work.

I actually got some cell phone quality images of the Grind House set on location, a car and stunt car featured in the movie, and a photo of Quinten Tarentino speaking to Kurt Russel.

I love Austin :D

Office Space is the best movie up there, but I don't think of SNL when I watch it.

I'd have to say Wayne's World.

Yeah I think of over-the-top, trying WAY too hard humor when I think of SNL and the same things don't come to mind when thinking about Office Space.

pretty sure it wasn't, although it was a really funny movie. steve martin was never an official cast member of snl, and i dont think there was a "the jerk" skit.
