yea Computer i actually watched that, what Dubai is doin is very impressive.

This is the perfect example of what happens to a country when they actually sell there exports, albiet oil lol, instead of being locked to for all eternity to free trade agreements.

Holy fucking shit. That is insane. I'd like to go visit there sometime. Probably the only Arab place I will ever visit.

I'd like to stay in that 7 star hotel. And wtfunderwater hotel.

Other than being childish, heh, I'd rather visit this place than Europe or Australia. It rivals my want to see Tokyo.

(Side note, for anyone that thinks New York is huge, I hear Tokyo is like 3x that size. Never been myself, but I wanna do New York > Tokyo and see what it's like. )

i can tell you that country is something else man..

and yes, surrounded by countries that hate amercians, but they could really care less. they are fucking RICH.. plus. dubai and abu dhabi is just a tourist spot for europeans anyway.. so its really diverse.

this is my first stop for vacation once i get out of school. i still got some of the currency from when i was last there. its fun.

Is alchohol legal there? I know in some middle eastern countries it isn't. I can't imagine that place being fun at all if you can't drink lol.

actually, alcohol is legal there. alot of the alcohol there is the arabic version of the american stuff.. such ass.. budwieser would be still called budwieser, but it would be made there and have a different taste. its wierd.

and to tell you the truth, when i was there.. i didnt drink that much, trust me... you dont need the alcohol there to have fun at all.. oh, and the women, omfg wow..

Very wonderful and clean cities, at least when I was there. Most Middle east cities are very clean, but frown on alchohol, so yeah.....not great places for a Sailor to go =P I like the highways there, I was never stuck in traffic.
