Post subject:  Crazy shit

I was sworn to secrecy on my car club forums, but none of you know the guy so it's ok lol.

It's 3AM and I'm pretty drunk btw. I just got home from this.

Anyways....I was at Dave and Busters with my car club. It's a place like Gameworks (a large expensive arcade with cool shit). We were there for a while. We played games for a couple hours and ate dinner. After dinner we were gonna play a racing game 8 vs 8 then go home around 11pm. We had 15 people but the others were gonna watch.

Anyways halfway through the racing game, the guy sitting next to me (a friend in my car club) started leaning out of his seat. He practically fell into my lap then fell on the ground and started having a seizure. I was drunk as hell and didn't know wtf was going on. I looked at him all confused, and all the others rushed to him. The ambulance and firefighters were there within 10 minutes asking us a bunch of questions from "whats his name" to "did he do any drugs?"

He ended up getting taken out in a stretcher. He's at a hospital now across the street from my house. This kid is 19 and was dead sober. We called his parents and they said he's never has a seizure (sorry I know I'm not spelling it right) before. Crazy shit. I'm drunk and drinking more now.

Yeah I had something like that happen to me once. It was a long time ago (I was like 15). Me and my friends were hanging out talking around this table. My friend was leaning back on his chair. He accidentally slipped and fell back and hit his elbow (not head) into the wall.
My friends and I laughed our balls off at him falling (we all saw). He didnt get up right away so there was an awkward pause, until you could hear some shuffling around. It was pretty strange what happened next. He started shaking and he opened his eyes and kind of sat up in an awkward way and looked at his bleeding elbow. It was strange because he looked like he was in a trance or like he posessed. His eyes were rolled back in his head while he was "looking" at his bleeding elbow. After he saw his elbow he kinda laid back down and started shaking (with his eyes open) and then snaped out of it. The next few weeks consisted of each one of us being questioned over and over about what happened.
In the end we found out that my friend had some strange heart condition. Basically anytime he hurt himself he would have a seizure.

I could go about and tell you my story. But i'll just explain the jest of it.

First and foremost I'm the worst person to have around if you have a seizure. I remember seeing my brother having one, and I was the only one around. Low and behold i thought my brother was doing another of elaborate lies again. So i held him down and slapped him up a couple of times. I knew something was wrong when in the middle of slaps he attempted to slap me back ROFL. He didn't talk to me for 2 weeks because he was so mad at the way i handled the situation.

When I was a freshman in high school there was this really pretty, very nice, soft-spoken sophomore with bright red hair named Shylah. I never knew she had seizures, but she died one night after having a seizure in her sleep.

I know I'd freak out if someone had a seizure around me. The only thing I know is you're supposed to stick something in the person's mouth to keep him from choking on his tongue (not your finger!). Or maybe I made that up.

My last dog had really bad seizure and eventually died from them. For a few minutes after the seizure she would lose her sight, memory or even her ability to walk. It was pretty heart breaking to see it happen. I'll never go through that again.

Its not fun coming home to a dog that just had a seizure and cant walk or see. My last memory of that do is carrying her into the Pet Hospital because she couldnt walk or see anything. All she could do was whimper.

Coming back from the 1st Bourne movie, my ex-girlfriend had a seizure. We had just started dating and I was completly unaware that she was epileptic.

When she snapped out of it she had no memory for a few mins, pretty scary if you don't know what's going on.

What's the big deal about a seizure? How is witnessing a seizure something that would cause you to have to drink all day? This is a serious question, not mockery.

It's unrelated. I think.

I'm confused then. Why is he so shaken up then? What traumatic event has just taken place?

witnessing someone in pain or coming close to death or anything of that nature is commonly a traumatic experience for the witness.

He was already drunk before the event took place. Im pretty sure anyone would be a little disturbed if they just watched a friend have a seizure.

But it was only a seizure. None of you have seen a seizure before?

Ugh Ponuh

For the record no, I haven't seen anybody have a seizure before. I was already drunk when this happened. I posted this thread when I got home, then I drank a little more. If it makes you feel better I would have drank more anyways. I didn't say this caused me to drink all day or caused extensive trauma. I don't know where the fuck you pulled that from.

It was odd seeing a friend who I'm racing in a video game, fall out of his chair and have a seizure on the floor next to me. When I posted this thread, I didn't how he was doing. He got taken out of the arcade in a stretcher with an oxygen mask because they couldn't bring him out of it. Is that a totally normal thing? Are you that upset I posted a thread? wtf is the irl section for then? Go fuck a woman already. Maybe that's your problem.

Lucky for him he was just driving a video game and not a real one, or racing irl. I know they are not a funny thing irl, but I've always thought it would be funny to go to an expensive store, with my breakable items, and pretend to have one. In the process, breaking many things. Doubt they would charge you for any of it, cause of a possible law suit that could follow. That alway comes to my mind when I walk past the fine dinnerwear in department stores.

Actually, that's a myth! (I think). The best thing to do is to give someone room and clear out tables, chairs, etc. that might be around or anything that a person seizing could bump in to. Give a person space and don't get near them. Wait for consciousness, if it doesn't happen after five minutes or so get help.

Wow guys... Seriously he wasn't even trying to be a dick. He was just asking a serious question. He even said it himself. Not everyone thinks the same in these situations guys.

I mean fuck, what did i do. I slapped my brother hardcore like 6 times before i realized i shouldn't be doing that..
