looks amazing. Finally another horror genre movie from Sam Raimi, he was classic with the Evil Dead , Dead by Dawn, and Army of Darkness. i must have watched the segment from the Evil Dead where Bruce beats his best friend down with a hammer about eleventy billion times.

I love the evil dead/army of darkness movies. In Dead by dawn, where he gets stuck in the fruit cellar with that researcher guys dead wife.. I love that scene. lol

This movie made me want my $20 back. I liked the head severing parts, though.

Yea, it was completely mediocre. The graphic novel was okay, but the artwork was so bad that it hurt the storytelling of the book. The movie made me wonder when the vampires managed to stop at Hot Topic.

No dood it's a huge let down. I had so many hopes for this movie to do well, I tried to like it but my mind would let me get past most of the crappy content.

Anyone else excited about "I am Legend". Fuck I hope that movie turns out well, it looks good just from the previews but I thought the same about 30 days of night. :/

Edit: The reason I say no to you is that I'm the same way, I will usually give the poor reviewed movies a shot and will end up liking them despite what the majority say about the film. In this case I agree with most of the critiques written about it.

Lol Ponuh, that dialog from him is what I'm afraid of but I'm still going to go see it when it comes out. I always thought it was more like "Erf" just taking out the "a" completely and maybe add an extra "f". I do like Will Smith just not in every movie he's done. :p

Nah I'd rent it, I've rented plenty of b horror films. I watch those crappy scifi channel original horror films too when I'm home on Saturdays. lol I have a good tolerance for shitty movies when I'm home and not paying $9+. :p

If you can't wait just DL and if you like it go see it on theater, since your dl'd version will probably be crappy.

eh I liked the graphic novel. It scared the hell out of me. I think vampires and other "higher" undead are a hella lot scarier than zombies. Zombies are so old news. I think it was really brave for him to write a comic about vampires and do it in a newish way with creepy disjointed art. The movie was just blagh. It used the same old techniques that every stupid horror movies uses. Wasn't original at all and didn't make me feel like I was freezing in Alaska or part of the journey or rooting for anyone. and the cuts and editing seem really horrible, but I don't know anything about that stuff.

Looking forward to I am Legend. I really hate Will Smith though. He is the worse actor. He is worse than Carlos Mencia. He is so boring and predictable and I'm tired of seeing him in every would-be-cool movie. Still gonna go see it though. hrmf.

One good Zombie movie I saw recently was Fido. It's Canadian. and awesome. My favorite zombie movie to date. yall should check it out!

the cover box to fido looks so damn horrendous i just can't bring myself to rent it. Even though everything on the cover box pretty much echos everything you just said ":best zombie movie of the year" but you're talking to someone who loves zombie moves like sally struthers loves cake, so if you tell me to rent some hammy non scary zombie movie that ends up being like chud 2, i'm going to find you and pour a mixture of boiling hot water, sawdust, and hydrocholoric acid in your head to see if i can turn you into a zombie
