I just found out this morning that the movie is supposed to be a creature feature. I thought it was about terrorists attacking nyc and destroying it lol. Now that I know it isn't. I'm actually pretty interested in seeing it.

I have a problem with where this movie is going actually.

Because From the rumors i've gathered... This monster you see here is a product of our abuse of the planet. A mutation.

Sound familiar?

Godzilla.

I have to admit though that the marketing campaign for this movie does draw you to it. But seriously speaking it feels like a reality take on Godzilla.

Did Godzilla have fleas too? Maybe that's why he was so pissed off. They need to make Godzilla size flea collars!

yeh everything i've read and seen about this movie in the past couple hours makes me totally think of godzilla,
let's hope it's better than the 90's remake of godzilla with matthew brodrick

Who cares...every movie has something in common with a previous one. That creature looks fucking rad. I'm excited for Cloverfield.

some one told me the clover field monster was a big mutated rabbit, this super humpback whale looks friggin awsome.

Ya, reminds me of Sin more then Godzilla. The head and tail section resemble a humpback whale. I want to see it. more for the fact I would rather see that in the theater then at home.

Ponuh is right, actually.

This was a submission from a "fan" contest. I believe it was the winning entry, but yeah, it's several months old.

The actual Cloverfield monster has yet to be "shown".

I saw the monster in the trailer kinda. It does look like that, but the shot was from the front. Definitely looked like Sin to a degree. Giant monster flicks can only supersize so many species before they have to recycle ones. Next will be a supersized dust mite taking over NYC.

Stay Puft marshmallow man was the coolest thing to ever attack NYC.

We'll know for sure on Friday. Honestly the sin looking monster had my hopes up. That would creep me out worse than a giant lizard or bunny. I'm gonna see this movie Friday night fo sho.

High budget blair witch project. Somewhat interested ... although the thriller/horror genre is nearly dead to me after so many bad movies. Saws, White Noise, They, The Mist, etc etc Not really interested in another suspense closet popper.
