And yea its kind of stupid of her to fuck around in a place that has pretty strict laws. I would have thought her company would have warned her or that she would have read up on their laws.

I know about Dubai but I didn't know Madi wanted to go there. Well no good can come of that, all I can see happening is some sort of "Crying Game" scenario going down.

I guess just avoid hooking up with doods there. Last thing you want is some local thinking he's hooking up with a poor mans Winona. Although you don't seem like the slutty type so this my be a non issue for you.

I don't need to go to UAE, all I need to see are the NEWS ARTICLES. Because it's cheaper, less stressful, and it's easier for me to make sweeping generalizations about a group of people when the only coverage I (let myself) see is how backwards they are.

but really, its really nice there. i used to live in abu dhabi, about 2 or 3 hours south of dubai.. its really not as serious as news put it as.

however, someone like madi will stick out like a sore thumb, but that doesnt matter either..

I have no desire to ever travel to UAE. Even if I won the lottery, I wouldn't visit Dubai. A bunch of buildings and palm trees in a crazy hot desert full of filthy rich arab dooshbags doesn't sound fun.

But your right mikey, its just a shame that such a beautiful country still has turpid laws

i got hit on alot, but then again.. they thought i was arabic (im puerto rican/saudi arabian) so i guess that kind of explains why. oh, and the women there are beautiful omg.

but anyway.. its really not that bad.. just dont go steal shit, or like piss in their cereal and you're good.. oh, by the way.. the BEST time i've ever had was in UAE.. (its really a fun ass country kluya)

See thats what I had figured, its like that in alot of countries. If your not a complete retard you will be fine, and theres got to be a huge secretive gay culture, though obviously if your very public about it you will get in trouble. And yes I know; Middle eastern women make me wish i was bi/straight, they are definitly the most beautiful race IMO (( the women though, the guys are eheheh. . . ^^; not my type.))

Anyways I just had assumed that the more modern parts of the UAE were among the many countries that are very contradictory in regards to homosexuality- publicly hate it but have a big gay population regardless, its just a secretive one I guess

yea, it was definatly weird living there at first. but i got used to the culture after a while.. although i wouldnt call it a big gay population i guess it could be defined as that though.. its really wierd... i really hated the malls though, it was all euro style (obviously with europe being their biggest source of tourism)..

however you can smoke in the malls! its awesome, hookah shops everywhere..

lol well i'm sure theres not a big -openly- gay culture but I assume theres as many gays there as there is everywhere else in the world, haha just some are forced to hide ;p Did you learn any arabic when you were there? Arabic is a beautiful language IMO, I'd love to learn it but I don't have the motivation to learn their itty bitty little squiggle alphabet lol

i did learn some arabic.. and i could read it too.. writing it was a bit of a challenge.. going from right to left is a bit wierd.. but it feels almost more natural..

i still got my drivers licence from there too =D

you should hear thier singers... the voices on those people is almost unreal
