Since we're the first generation of online gamers, do you think that when we're old and gray we'll remember our online times and the other people we shared it with? Will I be sitting talking with an old chum about that damn Yarr or something?

To think about it is really quite wierd

Aside from a few select friends (my nerd ones), princess and talisin, I dont talk about anything to do with video games and stuff haha. I mean my friends know Im an "IT" guy but they wouldnt really think Im some MMORPG or Video Game junkie. Then again, I havent been hardcore like arthars....

almost none of my friends even play games period, let alone on line games.. so i doubt ill strike up a conversation.. the ONLY perosn i can think of that i would talk to about games is arim.

few of my friends actually even know that i play this game. I actually don't talk about this game or anything related from this game outside to anyone. Though lately reality and this game have lately been conflicting with me. I had a long talk with my older sister about stuff nobody knows about concerning this game. Lately i've been thinking alot. But to answer your question lol, i think i'm never going to forget Yarr and Talisin. These 2 guys certainly are something.

only 1 of my friends plays MMORPG but its WoW so we constantly argue of which is better o.o;;

I only have one friend who plays this game, and he is actually my husband's best friend. We initially started playing because this friend moved to the other side of the world and thought it would be a fun way to keep in touch. My husband left for WoW because ffxi was too slow for him and I kept playing lol. We will probably just call down my husband for playing WoW, like we do now haha :P

Im hardcore hehe. I talk all the time about games and anime with my friends.

None of my friends play video games lol. Atleast the chic ones.. guy friends probably do but nothing like FF or online games. Maybe like counter strike(that's an online game isn't it?). I haven't talked about this game at all with my rl friends so they wouldn't expect me to be playing it, they probably don't even know what FFXI is.

All of my roommates (I have 4,) played FFXI at some point. I'm really the only one who plays routinely now. Oneof my roommates has a 48 MNK but I don't think he's logged on in like 2 weeks.

I sit and wonder how long I'll rememver everyone and most everything that's happened in game.

30 years down the road, (Holy shit I'll be 50 oO) I don't see myself saying, "Yeah, when I was a youngin' I was in the first all NA LS on the ifrit server to kill Kirin, now let me tell you about the job of a RDM back in the day...)

Of course by that time there will be like FFL or something. Only 38 to go! (FFXII coming out soon, yay.)

I have one friend who played ffxi with me but his scedul irl conflicted with game time so he decided to quite haha ill never let him live it down now he plays DDR o.o well ummm im trying to make him start playing again but dont think it will work owell hehe nuf sead good night.

That's a creepy thought, I always assumed certain things might stick in my mind, like the friendships I made with people in the game, but knowing how my memory works, I'll probably all of a sudden remember where the cheapest place to buy Chamomile is in FFXI.

Would I share these stories with other people? I hope not, but considering how all I do is play FFXI or work, it just might happen. Guess time will tell :p
