Don't you just hate when your in in a fast food chain a fat guy is holding up the line because he's ordering half the menu, and then he asks for a god damn diet coke. WTF is with people.

I used to work at Macdonalds and people would order the Big Xtra combo with bacon and cheese (at least 40 grams of fat) and a super size fry....and a diet coke. I just wanted to scream, "It's NOT going to help!"

I've never really had that problem (go go drive-thru). But i do have a couple amusing stories involving drive-thrus (both involving my not very well behaved mother)

A couple summers ago, we went to Mcdonalds and went to the drive thru. There standing a the menu/speaker, was an old lady looking at the menu... just standing there, doing nothing. She doesn't even notice our car there waiting to order.

She stands there for about 10-15 minutes. Eventually my mom says to me, "You think i should beep the horn or do you think that will kill her?"

We laugh quietly (I think her window was open) and eventually she leaves.

So we go up the 2nd window, waiting for the girl to give us our meal. Suddenly, my mom covers my eyes, saying, "Don't look!" Well... obviously i had to look.

... i wish i didn't. There, in the middle of the parking lot, was two pidgeons having sex... i mean wings flapping and stuff. I just turned to my mom and said, "Oh my god.... i just watched my food had sex" (Witty fast food referance, HAHA *nudge nudge*).

Another time we went to BK, and there were a couple cars infront of us. While we wait, there's a little mexican kid (i'm just guessing here) comes running out, and hops into the SUV infront of us.

My mom, just says, "Oh look, they ordered mexican" I just laugh. My mom can have dark humor like me, which is cool.

Heh i got a funny story about that one....
i was over @ my freinds house and we drove to mcdonald's to order somet shit and they do that gay thing they do all the time you know ask you to pull up beucase your food isent ready but the person's behind u is... anyway my friend looks at me laughs a little looks the guy @ the window in the face and said "i dont pull foward" we help up the line for like 10 minuets waiting for some damn fries... lol one lady cursed us out after the first 5 o well was funny as hell... just figured i'd share it

I do that ^^ I just like the taste of diet coke... besides the way I see it, the less calories I get from regular soft drinks (and its a LOT, especially if you order them super biggie sizes) the more solid food I can eat . So why the hell not ?

BTW I'm not fat and I "only" order around 4-5 buck in super value menu deals

i dont see how ppl can stand diet coke, i almost blew chunks when i tasted it.

well i've been trying to get myself away from soda and ive noticed i can get up in the mornning (dunno if its soda) now that im backing off it to like maybe 1 or 2 soda cans a week

but diet coke tastes better than regular coke i don tget a nasty dry taste

Diet Coke is pretty much all I ever order. Occasionally Root Beer, if the restaurant has a good kind.

I don't order Diet Coke because I want less sugar or calories or whatnot. Simply put, the only soda we ever had in my house when I was a kid was Diet Coke, so I literally grew up on it.

Normal Coke tastes like chemicals to me, LOL.

Ancient thread or not, I totally understand what you mean Mikey.

I work at ye ole BK and I am truly amazed when these people come through Drive Thru, order a Double Whopper w/ cheese and bacon meal, King Size, make fries into a poutine (for those of you who don't know, it's fries, cheese and gravy in one sloppily delicious mess) and a diet coke... Then, the pull up to the window in their SUV and their fat takes up every square inch...
