Post subject:  I dream of FFXI.
Well, I've played this game for a long, long time now (since JP release) so I guess it was only a matter of time before the game would inevitably work its way into my subconscious thought. Last night was my first 'vivid' FFXI related dream.

I know most of us who post here are pretty hardcore into this game so I assume some of you have dreamt of FFXI also, so I'd like to hear about your 'true' FFXI dreams/nightmares.

Here's the one I had last night, it's not so interesting or all that strange but I thought it was kinda neat from what I remember.

Before bed last night I did the BCNM fight for ZM6...so, naturally my dream was about a BCNM fight, but there was a catch...I was controlling all 6 PT members as we fought 3 antican mobs. I don't remember too many details but I do remember a feeling of being overwhelmed by the task at hand, especially as the rdms sleepga wouldnt stick and i had to rely on the 2 rngs to spam sleepbolts while also controlling them to launch other bolts at the non sleeping mob...the amazing thing was...I was contolling all 6 characters with an NES d-pad :shock:

See, not so interesting but it was a good dream. So let's hear some of yours.

I've had a few dreams about ffxi.
the most recent one was a few months ago..

I dreamed that volrath got big and fat and then gave birth to like 100 tarus and they kept following him around (I think I was watching animal planet before I went to sleep and they were talking about seahorses giving birth). and everyone was getting pissed off at him because he wouldn't take care of them... they would cry alot and ate everyone's kabobs, and would auto follow on random people. when we tried to get him to take care of them, vol would only say FU over and over.

I remember when we were doing rank 10, I kept having nightmares that I would somehow fall behind on the missons, and then I was screawed because noone would want to redo them.
and then a few nights after I finally did get rank 10, I dreamed that I logged in and everyone was rank11...

those are the interesting ones, most of my other ffxi dreams were like just playing ffxi in my sleep >__>;

i dreamt about alot of my closest friends on ff kirring some huge black evil thing with like supa good graphics and it was like all animated and lots of jumping and spells and fun fun, god i was so hot in my af.



oo and i had the excalibur

then we wne ton some huge mission and kirred everyone in jeuno and took over jeuno then blew up castle oz with flamingos that dived into the castle and blew up (i know wtf)

and i woke up

I dreamt that my duo partner kept exping but I kept saying "I wanna go to sleep fucker." but kept on going. Dunno why i wasn't going through with the /shutdown. I guess it was the crazy dream exp i was getting.

I just dreamed last night of yarr fighting with a pet (new mecenary) tiger in WoW's stranglethorn vale as a 56 whm in af2.

So I guess I dream of Yarr :roll:

I had a dream a few nights ago that my character kept throwing pebbles at Darters at a Fafnir camp. I couldn't get it to stop and everyone kept yelling at me ;;;;;;;;

My worst dream was when I dreamt we killed Aspidochelone and it dropped A.Abj: Body. I cast my lot and it was like 998 and every else had already lotted before me. Right after I cast my lot I started r0ing. Horrible dream. I woke up in a cold sweat.

Another dream I had which wasn't exactly in FFXI was a dream where CKD had a sleep over at Yarr's house.
