Recently i decided to try listening to stuff besides classic rock. Now ive always liked metal and grunge but i got some more metal and i even tried some emo music and techno. Im liking both actually its nice to have another sound. So feel free to make recommendations.

Try listening to the Bravery. They're new and I think they're pretty good.

Classic Rock is fading out of popularity. What a coiencidence(fuck I can't spell it)

Classic rock doesn't fade. It's typically a stage in music appreciation reached at about high school when a person "discovers" it, listens to it for a few years...then move on in taste with a knowledge of where music came from.

Bright Eyes.

It's kinda emo but has influences from bluegrass. Each song has a little bit of everything and his lyrics are incredible.

Funny thing. I grew up with it also - I used to spend all summer working with my Dad and that's all he listened to. I listsen to nothing but oldschool "classic rock" for a while but got bored and soon realized that nothing "new" would ever come out. haha
