Well, its that time again folks. My next official "Viviti's An Anime Dork" thread.

This time, it's AnimeFEST dallas. http://www.animefest.org for more info~

Anyway, it's on Labor Day Weekend, so its Texas' only 4 day convention. It will be Sept 2-5th and, as always, I'm gonna be cosplaying.

I'm sure Yarrberry will get a giggle from this cosplay, Ultimaj too.

I'm gonna be Ryu. Yes, THE Ryu. As in "HADOUKEN!!". I originally was gonna be Jiraiya from Naruto, but time ran out and I didn't finish it, but 3 of my friends are going as fighting game characters (Rock Howard and Terry Bogard from King of Fighters, and my friend Eric who is gonna be Ken Masters of Street Fighter)

I'll have pictures up later today, lol, my Ryu costume is done already.
Me and Eric are doing the Capcom Vs. SNK 2 versions of Ryu and Ken, that way we can fight with our friends who will be Terry and Rock.

I'm also cosplaying as 2D from the Gorillaz. It's not quite done yet, I'm doing the classic Clint Eastwood version (the T-Virus shirt). I already cut my hair to look like him, but I can also slick the sides back when I need to be Ryu, lol.

Anyway, same old garbage as always: whos going, who wants to go but cant, who would you cosplay as, and then ponuh makes a smart ass comment.

Yeah, I've kinda been having some money/job troubles lately, thats why I havn't been going to more cons and thats why I didn't finish my Jiraiya costume and did Ryu instead.

Once I have some more money that I can blow on fabric and crap, I am making several FFXI costumes. I'm gonna be making a full RDM AF set, probably a "Naked" Mithra costume (Y'know, the underwear stuff that mithras have when they unequip everything) Uhm, probably something for my friends Mint and Eric...

But yeah, Taru Lv1 RSE will be on my "To-Do List" while I get some better cashflow~

Hey, I'm willing to make pretty much any armor piece that FFXI has to offer (Aside from Metal pieces, such as PLD AF, things like that) As long as it's cloth based, I can probably make it.

Just gotta wait for some more money, as I said before.

Check the AnimeFEST info and come. You don't need a badge really, thats only if you wanna actually go inside the events and crap, you can come enjoy all the nerds in costume for free.

Just look for me, I'll probably be the only 2D and Ryu <3

And durr. Of course I don't have the body for Ryu, most body builders dont either. He's EXCESSIVELY muscly~~

My gf just offered to make me any set of the FFXI armor that I wanted... She was all pissed at me because I didn't cosplay at the Rochester event thingy. I told her rdm and she said she could do it :)
