Well my modem died because a lightning bolt struck just outside my house and caused my neighbours TV's and Pc's to blow, and also disconnected their telephone lines. My PC was on but nothing happened to it, thank god. Anyways the 4 days I had no internet I spent a lot of time figuring out recording software. In the end I recorded this piece.

This is a really trashy, heavy metal intro, just so you know. I think it came out amazing, it sounds very CD like sort of.

lol, I almost had a heart attack I thought there was an explosion in my back yard, it was so loud, I was sleeping when it happened, I never jumped and ducked for cover so fast in my life.

haha i did that once, only the lighting was in the neighbor hood next to us, not in my back yard, but it was still pretty loud

thats insane man, cuz a month ago my friend's house in orlando got hit by lightning. He was on his laptop at the time and the shock went right through his laptop to him and he was knocked out cold. His heart stopped beating for two minutes, then he suddenly woke back up, so in fact he died for 2 minutes.


I was talking to him a few weeks later and he told me the first thing he did when he woke up was run to the mirror to see if his hair was standing up straight >.>

I can do it on a lot of drums sets and petal setups but mine for some reason nada.. i need to really sit down one day and fuck wiht my drums and set them up in a manner that suits me really well and buy new stands and pieces that are rusted or bent.. I just don't play much anymore (i mean like 4-5 horus a night with a band 2-3x a week like i used to) So why I should do all this heavy maintance if it's just me in there banging away on them for maybe 20mins to an hour eveery other day or so?

by the way pix what exactly did you record in that song cuz it sounds exactly like the intro to opeth - deliverance.. did you just re-record your own guitar over the already existing song, or is the drums and other shit some music program and you did guitars over it?
