Man i heard from Krellis this bad was pretty good when he went to see them for his birthday, so when my friend Lindzi said she wanted me to go see them in Rochester i said sure. But then became alittle sceptical when i found out advanced ticket prices where only 94cents. But holy shit, Amazing show. Even the thier opening band Flyleaf was pretty good. I would recommend to anyone if they see Mars is comming to town to go hit the show. And even on a better level, they are just starting a tour with Audioslave. Now that is going to be an amazing show. So i'll hit them up again when they come back to town with them.
For those of you that don't know about them, they are alternative rock, and thier lead singer is Jared Leto (the guy from "My So Called Life" as a kid, then did the movies "Requiem For a Dream", "Alexander", and that new one with Nicholas Cage comming out... and he's even hotter in person lol). If you catch thier smaller shows without Audioslave, you'll mostlikely be in a bar type venue, which is normally alot more fun for these types of concerts since you get to interact with them so much more (if 175 people max was there, it was alot)
Definatly pick up one of thier CDs atleast if you see it in a store near you, "Beautiful Lie" is the name of it. I think i paid like 15bucks for the CD there and got it signed at the meet and greet. Great show all in all, only problem i have now is i killed my back since we stood right by the people that thought all songs was deserving of a mosh pit, even the slow ones, and i kept trying to take the mass of major hits instead of the three girls i was with lol. Now i'm laid up on the couch popping Darvaset (sp) lol.
So yeah, Go see them, go buy thier cd, or at the very least download some of thier songs lol. "Was it a dream" is my favorite so far.
