Hey guys, kinda bored at work today, I recently met someone and they mentioned this band decemberists to me. I had never heard of them before, so i went and looked them up on google. I found the site, and out of boredom started looking around. They have some really interesting bands in their links section, one of which really stands out to me among the others. winter blanket, it's kind of slow and folky from the mp3s i heard. Picture mazzy star meets leonard cohen with sprinklings of cat power and bright eyes for those indie/emo sensibilities. Definitely worth checking out if you're into those sort of things.

it's really good background music. Something to throw on when chatting with a friend, or napping, or making out, or working in photoshop or whatever. 95% of my music collection is just very chill music like that. Glad you dig it :D

I love The Decemberists. Red Right Ankle and July, July are really the only songs I listen to though, the rest are too.. I dunno how to describe it, just don't like the rest. I can't see a dude liking them though unless your emo. I mean I'm not emo but only an emo dude could like them in my eyes. Or if you like Indie you might like these guys too.
