Ill be first to admit that its December 19th and I have not started my christmas shopping.

Well I did go to a huge mall in Mississagua (Square One) and look around at stuff with my girlfriend. I walked away with out spending any money but I have some idea's for people now.

Luckly we draw names at my house (5 kids, so we each pick one person and spend 150ish on them rather then spending like 30 bucks on each person with a crappy gift) and I got my other brother who is going away to Calgary soon and just wants cash. So technically I have one gift.

I'm going in on a LCD TV with my brothers for the kitchen for my mom. nothing fancy, should only cost 300-400 bucks.

For my dad Id like to go out and get him a new Home Theater system. Nothing fancy, just a good reciever and a speaker set. Ive seen them for the same price range as the TV for my mother so I figure I'll just go in on it with my brothers again.

Its nice now that my brothers and sisters are getting older and we have more money, we can actually buy nice things for my parents lol, not just some bath bubbles and cheap screwdriver sets that we end up losing a few weeks later anyway lol.

So yeah then theres my Girlfriend, I have an idea of what I want to get her but I cant say it here since shes probably gonna read it. All I know is that I'll spend more than shes going to be happy about lol.

Anyway, 6 days til christmas and I have so much to do lol.

How about everyone else?

I still haven't done any Christmas shopping either. Although with buying the house this year and then subsequently losing my job, I don't have much money to buy anything. I'm probably going to just make ppl cards with construction paper and crayons.

Normally though, I don't start Christmas shopping until 1 or 2 days before anyway b/c I can't keep secrets very well and I just end up giving the gifts early b/c I'm so excited to give the ppl their gifts lol.

Man, I didn't know you have to buy the top piece of your x-mas tree early. Every damn store I went to was like basically sold out of angels and stars. Luckily, I found a store with like 2-3 angels left and I snatched it up \:D/

This happened earlier this year, I just still haven't recovered fully from the 2 months of unemployment that I had, right after buying a house....yeah, that sucked.

This made me feel bad about buying a $30 gift until I remebered that Yarr was from Canadia and it's not real money.

I laughed at that until I realized the Canadian dollar has been on a steady growth while the American Dollar has been steadily shrinking.

Laugh it up yanks, its only a matter of time. God Bless President Bush!

asdcfgvbhnj I have nothing so far and so much to do..

I have to buy like 5-6 presents and send them out to people in Chicago. No idea what I'm getting.. I'll prob. get something like $10 for everyone except for 2 people I have to spend like $30. I only want to get 2 people something but the rest are buying me things and it would be rude.

Then for my friends we did a secret santa.. thank god.. so I got my person this really cute purse and got lotion and MAC makeup to put inside. One down!

I think I'm going to buy a DVD for my brother. Either Sin City or the 40 yr old virgin, maybe both.

Then my bf I think I'm gonna get him DVDs too.. perhaps the same ones haha.

Then my brother and his girlfriend. I have no idea what to get him.. maybe a huge hug=). but I already know what necklace I want to get his girl.. it's like $60 so I hope I have enough. Last year she spent a good amount on me and I felt so bad 'cause I didn't get her anything... I just said my mom's present was from me too. Then for him maybe I could get a best buy gift card.

For my mom I'm getting her lotion from Bath & Body Works. She has like OCD or something and she washes her hands constantly so they get super dry. Her record(because she counts) is like 52 times in one day and usually it's around 30.

My dad would be happy with just a card but I think I'm gonna buy him his favorite chocolates. Forgot the name but it's some German one. I can't think of anything in the world that he wants.

Yeah so this amounts to $300+ and I don't work lol. When I was younger I'd ask my mom for money and I'd go to the mall and buy my whole family presents including her haha. Last year I asked for money and I bought my friends presents with it but this year it's all my own.

You can say it here, I PROMISE I won't read it! Just kidding...I like surprises. As for my shopping, it is officially finished. I just have the stocking stuffers to buy.

Oh, and here's a secret: I won't always be unhappy with you spending more money. ;)

I still need to do Christmas shopping as well. I have 15 people to buy gifts for... so that is gonna suck haha. I am pretty fast though and a few of them only want gift certificates from the mall lol. Only a few of the people in my family are difficult to buy gifts for.
