I was really suprised to see people like Mena Suvari doing Aerith and Rachael Leigh Cook doing Tifa. I mean seriously. James Woods and Zach Braff, I mean you would expect to see the names of people youve never heard of.

I really need to sit down and play Kingdom Hearts now lol.

The original Kingdom Hearts was packed with name actors as well, most of which seem to be returning for the sequal.

Christopher Lee has played the nefarious Saruman in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy as well as Dr. Wonka in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Always lovely and beguiling, Mena Suvari will voice the graceful Aerith. Mena is best known for her role in "American Beauty".

The man's man and top tough guy James Woods will once again play the villainous Hades.

See sig

Especially regarding Suvari.

Gonna talk about KH1 a minute:

Despite it's initial appearence, Kingdom Hearts was actually a very good and very well made game. It was just difficult for a lot of people to get past the whole "Disney" thing and either didn't try it or turned it off as soon as Donald and Goofy entered the story.

Probably only downside, imo, is that despite all the new abilities and magic and summons and combos and whatever else you get; you can still kill pretty much anything by running up to it and mashing the Attack button.

That said, I recently replayed through the whole game again on Hard mode. Not only that, but during the dream sequence, I chose to sacrifice the Shield (Defense) in light of obtaining the Sword (Attack) -- which basically turned Hard mode into "Near freaking impossible mode." by forcing my Defense as low as possible throughout the whole game.

I remember the first boss killing me in 2 hits before I even got started with him. I kitted myself with as much Defense and Defense boosting items as as I could get, and monsters from the start of the game could still kill me in only a few hits. I had to set Donald to pretty much do nothing but Cure me just to keep me alive in bosses, assuming I didn't just get one-shotted, which was sometimes the case.

Honestly it made the game frustrating, but also a hell of a lot more fun. It forces you to dodge, block, and fight strategically by learning attack patterns instead of just running in and mashing Attack. I eventually beat it, but I never got around to going back to kill Sephiroth (that guy could kill you in one hit in Normal mode already pretty much) or Kurt Zisa.

I suggest anyone looking to play again does so in Hard mode, but try to avoid sacrificing Shield at the start, lol.

As for Kingdom Hearts 2, I've been waiting bloody forever. Chances are I'm gonna have to wait about 6 months after it's released in the US too.

when I played KH, I am pretty sure I sacrificed magic and kept the sword for average def and decent attack. I can't remember what mode I went on, either normal or hard, iono, probably normal. but I had enough difficulty with bosses that I did learn to dodge and block, especially when I tried to take on sephiroth, I got him down 4 life bars I think(I think that was about 30% health) before he kirred meh XD

KH is a very good game in my opinion though, I wasn't much of magic since I would have to defer my attention from what's going on to the magic menu and stuff, though I did master the quick menu for cure and fire.
