Ok so Im sure alot of you guys (my fellow geeks) know bomberman and the insane 4 player fun. I really dont know what to think. Bomberman was never about the character. It was about the layout and style of the game. I honestly was never attached to the old school look. So really this doesnt bother me at all. I kind of think its a good update. Capcom decided to "update" the series for the X360. Original Cartoon Style

Why is this in the IRL forum instea dof off topic gaming? That said the stages look the same so this pretty much changes nothing. I hope they keep the sotry mode and such. I always like the non traditional layouts , and themed stages and such best when there's no friends to paly with. |

Saturn Bomberman was the best. I have no idea why they never went back to that style afterwards. I mean seriously, the entire game was themed, stages actually "flowed" from each other as you progressed through the levels. They actually had huge bosses. And the entire damn story mode was co-op 2 player. What the hell Hudson, remake f'ing Saturn Bomberman. EDIT: And in Battle Mode you could play 8-10 player, lol. That made for some crazy games. |

What the hell lol. Wasn't expecting that. I can't say I really enjoy the new look, even if I didn't care much about the old one. It looks like they tried too hard to make it look badass. In any case, I totally enjoyed Bomberman 64 and Bomberman 64 2. I'm probably a few one who did, but I doubt I will ever see something like that again with the new graphic and style they are trying to give. |

In any case, I totally enjoyed Bomberman 64 and Bomberman 64 2. Sometimes I wish I could still play those. The multiplayer for that was so much fun. And semi on topic: Bomberman DS any good? |

I beat them again on N64 emulator a few weeks ago. If you want them, just AIM or MSN me. And yeah, multiplayer was probably the best part. It was kinda chaotic at time, but still good. |

The new graphics are whatever.. well they aren't bad though. Graphical change isn't going to matter in the long run.. it is 4 player bomberman...so it will be fun anyway regardless of graphics lol. |

There is thing you can't do with realistic style. Shigeru Miyamato (Mario's creator and the guy in this emoticon)said basically the same thing about the games he creates.
He basically said that the harder you try to make a game real the more you notice the smaller mistakes. So when you have a super realisitic looking Link you ll notice all the small imperfections like his hand not holding the sword correctly or swinging it in an odd fastion. Where as with a cartoon style link you just wouldnt notice that. Everything looks "real" within its own world. His comments of course were made during the Cel shaded link vs Real Adult link. |

How long were you guys planning on hiding Bomberman 64 2 from me? I'm gonna go get that free trial for gamefly and get bomberman 64 2 and DS and play them both at the same time. |

Bomberman 64 2 isn't as fun as the first one. They added a few nice thing, but losing the gold card hurt it more than anything. Not to mention bomb bridge are significantly less useful here. It's closer to a megaman at time with its 8 stage selection and boss battle than the first installement on 64. |

yeah lol. I stole the emoticon from the modojo forums (hardcore videogame forum. People there in the war room are so good at arguing points and backing everything up with fact it scares me.) You can tell its him on the very first frame. |
