ok i had .NET 2.0 on my computer, but another thingy wouldnt work for it so i downloaded and installed like the beta v2.0
well that didnt work so i uninstalled .NET 2 and the beta wouldnt work so i uninstalled 2 beta to attempt to reinstall the one i got from windows auto update. well the auto update website wont let me auto DL the .NET2
so i uninstalled all versions of .NET i had (1.1 hotfix's etc), i reinstalled 1.1 from automatic update and now the update hotfix for it fails when i try to install it. not to mention v2, c++ and various other things wont let me install them. i get a 2908 error followed by a 1935 error. now i looked these error codes up and they dont make sense. seeing how one of them said something about BIT and it was configured right.
one version i try to install says something about insificiant mem or package structre or something, which i have sufficient mem etc.
anyone care to take a stab at WTF is wrong
