Post subject:  Huge Congratulations to Sunshine!
I just wanted to publicly congratulate my amazing girlfriend. This week she was accepted into Teachers College at Brock and the University of Toronto!

This probably doesn’t make sense to Americans, but basically teachers here have to go to "Teachers College" for a year after finishing their normal University degree. The problem is, its very difficult to get into teachers college, let alone getting into University of Toronto's teachers college. Getting in requires top marks and tons of experience in the field.

I'm happy that shes now going to come back home (Windsor\Detroit sucks!) in April. No more driving 3 hours just to see her. I hope to be in my own apartment (cheap apartment so I can get a house of my own in a year or two) by may and Sunshine will be moving in with me. Its all pretty exciting, but makes me feel super old haha. To think in a year and a bit from now I'll be dating a teacher. lol

Anyway, Hurray for Sunshine!

Awww thanks everyone! :) I'm really excited to move back home and getting into these schools has pretty much been the most stressful thing in all of my life. lol It'll be nice to be back home with Yarr and not in gross Windsor.

I will be a high school drama/history teacher! I'm really excited. And yeah, being a Canadian teacher is better I think. lol I can't back that up, but that's my guess. The benefits are great!

I wanna be a teacher too. will probably go back for it after I'm done with my current major.
I wanna teach history too! (and lit)
I think it's neat how teacher is becoming a semi-popular profession again.
