Post subject:  upgrading the computer

i have found myself in a bind... i have just recieved a $1500 credit card and want to purchase a new computer before i have to start paying interest on it. unfortunately, i cant afford to pay 250 a month for the next 6 months since i will be paying for 2 ppls rent in our house this summer.

SO, what kind of graphics card can i get to replace my old 9800pro w/o having to get PCI-E? i know that PCI-E is the way to go as far as graphics go, but i cant afford to do the whole shabang.

so far that card looks really good, and for $171 seems hard to beat.

I was just curious though if anyone could tell me which cards from ATI/nVidia compaired to what ie X800XT = 6800GS?

going to purchase these two products, unless someone can telll me not to :P
