OK so I dont have many details because I havent sat down to read them all. So far Sony has redesigned the controller to act more like the Wiimote. The price has been finalized 499.99 for the basic set and 599.99 for the better package. oh but even better are the images people are making

Yeah i mean they played a new FFXIII video that was suppose to be cool, but really, i mean come on here. 600 bucks AMERICAN? mother of god that thing wont sell well over here in canada..... 599.99USD = 666.631CAD |

I looked at that for a second and was literally about to cry before I realized that it wasn't real. I swear to god, if they incorporate any bit of Nintendo's design, I'm going to flip out. Hopefully Nintendo's got a solid patent on it. |

from what i have read, they added really crappy knock off stuff to the controller. AKA Kirby tilt in turn or whatever what technology lol. but they have ripped it off now. |

Don't the controller designs just sum up Sony and Microsoft's gameplan, haha. Graphics>innovation for them. Sony didn't even bother to change the color. |

alot of people actually love the ps controllers. they are still some of the best controllers out there. Yes no invovation but still nice to know one thing doesn't change |

From a business perspective, I can't blame them. They've half-assed enough of Nintendo's design to make their primary competitor, the 360, look rather archaic in comparison to the rest of the industry. On that note, FUCK YOU, Sony. You can take your six hundred dollar price point and ram it up your asshole. Not even Final Fantasy XIII can make me buy this crap. That was the worst press conference ever. |

lol this almost sound like old NEO-GEO system home type that cost this much but what much worse is game were $200 to $350 buck each! that killed home system real damn fast but Arcade is still alive barly (s?) lol but do ou guys think this price is getting out of HANDS!!!!! unlike the Gas for fucking car to run? |

lol stop bitching your all going to buy the system, thats why they priced it that cost, cause they know you will buy it, just like everyone bitching about the 360 price, and then buying every freakin one for that price still. Hypocrites! I predict everyone on this board owning either a 360 or a ps3 by Nov next year, if the ps3 comes out on time. Where does your "I will never pay 600 for it" go now? Agree with mikey though: the current controller for sony is a extremely good design, to change it would be suicide on their part. |

Umm im not a hypocrite. Well atleast not for this topic haha. I can tell you right now I am not going to buy PS3 at launch or any time until there is a price drop or a way for me to get it cheaper. dont forget that PS3 wont be sold as a bare console. They will have packages. So basically add another 100 to that total. Im not about to pay 700-800 bucks on a gaming system. Thats almost a months rent for crying out loud lol. what the f are they thinking. |

My friend has had a nearly 10 year love affair with Sony. He loves his Playstations to death. He even admits the GC controller is better lol. The Dual Shock controllers have too little resistance on the control sticks. |

Nintendo have responded to the news of Sony's controller, read what one spokesman had to say... Has everyone calmed down yet after last night's shocker of an announcement? Maybe not, but Nintendo are taking Sony's controller in their stride. In an article at CNN Money about the Sony conference, a Nintendo spokesman responded to the news, in the first comment from Nintendo on the subject. Apparently shrugging off the similarities, the un-named spokesperson simply said "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." LoL I'll believe that hard line stance when I see it come to fruitition. I have alot of faith in the inner gamr of people, and sometimes all you need is the constant commercials from square enix or bungie to get someone to "find" 700-800 for a PS3 or Xbox 360. I've seen people who had no business buying games, come to my stores and spend money I know they couldn't spend just to buy that next game... its a drug and I'm the drug dealer biotches. You will buy it. just like I will. LMAO |

ok lol.. I've seen the video trailer for final fantasy 13. 7 times in a row lol. I don't give a shit what anyone says. It looks simply amazing. And it doesn't even look like fmv it looks like gameplay. I'm saving now i'm buying a ps3 . i don't care lol |
