So far Sony has redesigned the controller to act more like the Wiimote. The price has been finalized 499.99 for the basic set and 599.99 for the better package.

from what i have read, they added really crappy knock off stuff to the controller. AKA Kirby tilt in turn or whatever what technology lol.

alot of people actually love the ps controllers. they are still some of the best controllers out there. Yes no invovation but still nice to know one thing doesn't change

From a business perspective, I can't blame them. They've half-assed enough of Nintendo's design to make their primary competitor, the 360, look rather archaic in comparison to the rest of the industry.

On that note, FUCK YOU, Sony. You can take your six hundred dollar price point and ram it up your asshole. Not even Final Fantasy XIII can make me buy this crap. That was the worst press conference ever.

I can tell you right now I am not going to buy PS3 at launch or any time until there is a price drop or a way for me to get it cheaper.

dont forget that PS3 wont be sold as a bare console. They will have packages. So basically add another 100 to that total. Im not about to pay 700-800 bucks on a gaming system. Thats almost a months rent for crying out loud lol.

My friend has had a nearly 10 year love affair with Sony. He loves his Playstations to death. He even admits the GC controller is better lol.

Has everyone calmed down yet after last night's shocker of an announcement? Maybe not, but Nintendo are taking Sony's controller in their stride. In an article at CNN Money about the Sony conference, a Nintendo spokesman responded to the news, in the first comment from Nintendo on the subject.

Apparently shrugging off the similarities, the un-named spokesperson simply said "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Just don't expect Nintendo to flatter Sony much this evening...
