M. Night Shymalan's next movie... The more and more I see the preview the more confused I get, I was disappointed by "The Village" but does anyone have any scoop on this movie? thoughts are also welcome... |

lady in the water looks stupid and is that the same chick from the village? the orange haired chick whos the daughter of ron howard lol its retarded that shes in like all of m knight's moviez just cuz her daddy and him are freinds or something. I dont like her lol |

I'm so tired of horror or suspense movies with stupid, vague threats and inconclusive, unfufilling, open-ended endings. In other words I'm not going to make an effort to see this movie. |

Well im looking forward too it. The movies are very well done and scripted. The problem with The Village is that people wanted to see the big scary monsters, but that never happened. The movie had a wicked twist and I liked it. |

although the village was a total let down of a movie it may be seen in the future as a must-see since a few college students have begun writing english papers about it. The premise of the movie is the people of "The Village" are using fear to control the masses of people...these people are confined to live as they are and many do not seek new knowledge or a way to reach an outside world. In the real world with terrorists and all these terror alerts and crap it seems this same method is being used to control people...in other words fear is a control tool utilized by those in power A few are comparing this film to Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" so although yea the movie sucked, it may be seen in the future as a great film. I do like the actor playing the maintainance guy in "Lady in the Water", he's a good actor, so this movie has raised quite some curiosity in me. |

The women playing "They Lady" is Bryce Dallas Howard. She was the girl from The Village. Yes she is Ron Howard's daughter, but as far as I am aware Ron Howard has nothing to do with this movie and had nothing to do with The Village. Bryce Dallas Howard is also in Spiderman 3 playing Gwen Stacy. She has also never been in any M. Night Shyamalan movies other than The Village and Lady in the Water. Its pretty common practice for Directors to have "friends" they work with and often ask to have them work on other movies with them.
