Not exactly how many comic fans there are here, aside from myself and Yarr. But to those that have been following the events in the world of funny books, I made this thread for active discussion of the issues that have been released thus far. If you are posting spoilers please remember to give fair warning to those who are following but may not be up to date on crap. Or use a white font with a marker to highlight like this, okay? |

Just downloaded the first issue. Do I need to be like Marvel nerd of the universe to get this? I mean I know the stories of alot of the characters and some X-Men and Spiderman arches but is it going to be like "Deadpool haha you masochistic turd. You look about as silly as Northstar coming on to Emma Frost when you wear that tight see-through boostier! ha ha ha!" And so on. You know, maybe I should just try reading it first lol. edit: Just finished it. Fucking rad stuff. The last few pages also had like a "We know that this is a big deal and that it'll attract new readers so here's some more things to pick up." I was able to understand all of the heroes and everything. That's pretty wierd that [Spoiler?] Captain America of all people is like the anti-registration ringleader. |

Yeah I have some catching up to do. Sunshine was saying she wants to go to the bookstore, so im going to take her up on that and grab some good old Graphic Novels. |
