that was funny, haha. I remember all that shit from when I was like 10.

He does "Roger Rabit" and its prety funny. Karate Kid made me laugh pretty hard too. Both those games I played and HATED.

He did a review of Top Gun and it wasnt really that funny. I actually liked that game though lol, probably why I didnt like his trashing of the game. He went on about how insantly hard it was. The problem was, he just wasnt playing the game right. When you land the jet you have to follow instructions. Up Up and Down Down and so on. The screen said UP so he hit UP and im pretty sure youre suppose to press down (like all flying games up is down and down is up).

i kicked ass at top gun, the only thing i couldnt ever get down was landing back onto the ship, i dont know why, cause now that i back and play it now, its soo simple, but at the time i didnt know what i was doing, so i never got past like the third level.

Ike were you even born in 1987 when the game came out? I was 6 when it came out. I played it a ton when I was 7-8 (1988-1989).

my dad bought an nes a few years before i was born in 89, he played mario, golf, and topgun. i also have a number of other titles including dizzy, kung fu heroes, kirby, and the TMNT series. i started playing at an early age, my dad knew i was going to be a geek from the start. top gun and kirby were the two games a played most, played them all the way untill the 64 was released.

so no yarr, i was not born when it came out, and no i was not one of the first to play it. but that doesnt mean i didnt get the cahnce to experience the awe of the nes.

haha, I watched that Castlevania one Yarr. I love the part where he accidently discovers the book and presses a button before it reveals all it's information. I'll have to watch some more of those videos. We really tortured ourselves as kids.

oh and TS, yeah I forgot how god damn bad some games for the NES were. I remember renting games and only playing them for 1-2 hours because they were just so bad.

Then again, im a proud owner of ET for Atariii. My parents got me an old Atariii when I was like 5 and ET was a gift with it. God lord, I hated that game.

Like 1987 or something. I can remember my cousin who was born the same year and thinking (I swear to god this is true) "This kid is going to grow up with way better video games than me!" because SNES was coming out in a year or so lol.

I had a nintendo power subscription from like age 7-11 lol. Then for fun I had a subscription for like 2 years back in like 2001 lol.

I loved my Nintendo Power subscription even though all my other friends had GamePro lol.

God I hated that gamepro show.

ET for atari was the #1 worst game of all time in a funny ass countdown EGM did a few years ago. I played it on an emulator and wanted to cut my eyes out.

Yeah I REALLY hated it. At first I thought it was because I was like 6 trying to play it. I figured I was really bad. Then I later found out the game was really just poorly designed.

i dont remember when i started my nintendo power subscription, but i had it for like 3-4 years straight and i stopped a little after the GC came out

somehow we were much better at those nerve-racking games when we were like 8 than we are now

yeah, were used to good quality graphics and complex game play, my dad ROCKS at golf for the nes still, but thats because thats all hes played, tried tiger woods pga pro tour and he failed misserably.
