Yeah now that YouTube has google behind it, get ready to watch the copywrite lawsuits fly. Its a shame because I liked YouTube a lot. From this point on changes will slowly take place to remove all the fun media (TV clips, movie clips, music videos and so on) |

You mean just like all the lawsuits that fly at GoogleVideo? It would be different if Google wasn't already using a competitive service. |

Myspace didn't do it. They were created by some large company (NewsCorp) and advertised heavily. |

i thought myspace was created by that fag Tom that everyone has to have on their blist and then were bought out by newscorp? EDIT: I looked it up, cuz i'm an anal-rententive fag like that Wikipedia wrote: The current MySpace service was founded in July 2003 by Tom Anderson (an alumnus of both the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, Los Angeles), the current president and CEO, Chris DeWolfe (a graduate of University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business), and a small team of programmers. It was partially owned by Intermix Media, which was bought in July 2005 for $580 million by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation (the parent company of Fox Broadcasting and other media enterprises).

It wasn't made by those two. It was made by newscorp. Maybe they say they made it but newscorp was definately involved. Newscorp wanted to take out that now dead website "Friendster" |

Has Youtube been fucking up for anyone lately? Seems any video I look at dies around 75% and the little view window flashes the "Watch again" and the linked videos then goes black. |

At least I dont think you can. |

People upload stuff onto google video just like they do onto youtube so I can't imagine it wouldn't be there unless Google is much better at keeping copyrighted stuff off (and they are) |

google is really hard to find good stuff on, and they drop stuff for the slightest flag, or copyright issue. I've always hated the fact that, western companies will license an anime that is shown on TV in Japan, and because they have licensed it, and take 2 years to translate it.. mind you I don't want it translated. Then I have to wait 2 years to watch it. Thats why I loved youtube and hope it doesn't change too much like google. I could get untranslated RAW episodes, or subbed episodes of the current season of the shows in Japan maybe the same week, sometimes the day after it aired. Instead of waiting a year or more for some stupid video company to translate it and make me have to click a dvd menu to turn off the horrendous translating they made me wait for. |
