http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Newsro ... ts_lrg.jpg I thought this was fun to look at. No wonder they call Africa "the dark continent." Australia is pretty dark too. |

is this kinda a compilation of pictures. It's awfully odd that across this map there seems to be no place with clouds. |

I'm sure there's some kinda lens or computer program or something that can filter out everything but the lights. And yeah it has to be a compilation of photos because the entire Earth's surface is not dark at once. |

Actually North Korea was very dark prior to the recent events. Kim would light up the city and its many empty buildings to put up a facade. The US doesn't supply power to North Korea anyway. They shouldn't have fired a missle off the coasts of Japan and China to show the range of their missles. Basically most of the world is against North Korea having nukes, because their dictator tries to portray himself as a god.. which makes people think he is crazy. China doesn't want a war because that might mean more North Koreans immigrating into China. The last thing China needs is more people. |

umm, would have to be a compilation over a few nights Naturi, because at no point is the entire globe nighttime in all places. ^^ |
