So I was in the middle of a pretty serious session of doing nothing in FFXIV again when all the sudden this guy popped out of no where.

He didnt say anything, but he did target people and look at them. He looked at me and ruby a few times. Im not sure if he actually moved or stayed in the same place. He kept using AOE buffs that hit anyone in the area around him. The spell moves and effects were different from anything I had seen.

He vanished at the end with out saying a word with a special kinda cool spell effect. It was almost like a smoke bomb effect.

This event has potential, but still Square is being far to quiet as to whats going on. I expect the speculation so far is probably 100x better than what Square is really doing.

If this does turn out to be a buff/support class like RDM or BRD I'll definitely be checking it out when its released. That's exactly the kind of class I was hoping THM would turn out to be.

That being said, having another class to sit at rank50 doing nothing on isn't exactly what the game needs right now...

Apparently there is an NPC that pops near Uldah Repair NPC/ADV Guild Fountain (mine was named Alfgar)...you can talk to him for a Lodestone Achievement for your character. He pops and depops but current speculation is he pops same time the GM (Urianger Augurelt) on the world pops. Needs more verification.

Achievement is called:
Seventh Moon Rising
"You have heard rumors of suspisicious individuals appearing near aetherytes and prophesizing the end of the world."

That GM popped last night... top of the ramp right by me, but this time he was speaking french.
