Good:
Graphics

Bad:
PUG, MRD, LNC are the same job.
CNJ, THM are the same job.
Emphasis on AOE dumbs down battles
Battles are too easy and monsters die too fast
Skillchains are messy, aren't fun to execute, and don't provide enough effect
Most weapon skills are too similar, and being able to use them on all jobs ruins their identities
Very few new unique abilities after rank 20, 2nd tier abilities and spells too similar
Magic animations are too subtle
Ancient magic is pathetic
Not enough NMs roaming the land
Not enough unique landscapes
Exploring is always disappointing
Small villages are horribly unfinished
No sneak/invis
Damage is based on rank, thus a level 95 mob hits you for 2500 while you're trying to explore
The entire playerbase and economy consolidated to Uldah/Broken Water, the rest of the world is barren
Crafting is boring
Too many crafters makes leveling a craft pointless
Having to vendor 100 different items at the slow vendor window is slow
The quests are a travesty
The storyline is kinda boring and doesn't draw you in
The storyline suffers from wall-of-text syndrome, thus many people probably just skip over it
Not enough beastmen and no beastmen storyline
Monsters reused too much
Traditional exp parties don't exist
Gear is ugly
Gear stats basically do nothing for your character's battles
There is a central MMO concept of tough battles, good gear, prized NM loot, and demand for crafters, and they thoroughly botched all 4.
No dungeons exist for exp after rank 35
Dev team has been too slow at responding to fixes
Linkshells have no control over roster
Party and player search features are non-existent
The game is too reliant on levequests
The auction house, I mean market wards, are way too slow and a pain in the ass
The game still crashes a lot
No mounts
Barely any Final Fantasy feel to it whatsoever
