I searched and couldnt find anything in here about a screenshot program other than fraps.

My question is, what are programs are really good? i'm not looking for resolution, i'm looking for quality.

Dunno, fraps is nice. what's the problem? btw Kioto, please pick one sig. If you want to keep both shrink them down a bit.

Naw, I'll have to agree with Rein here....

Large sigs (both vertically and horizontally) are annoying, b/c they cause so much more scrolling just to browse through threads.

I'd prefer no picture sigs and just text only... but gotta let kids have some fun.

I agree that Runefury's Japanese comic book was a little large, and I agree two sigs are too many, but these boards are really fast as is(or maybe yarr pays like 500 bucks a month for it haha), and personally it's never seemed to bother me, and not many people have spoken up about it.

Ehh true... i think the sigs that ike made (like the one ur using are pretty acceptable).

of course im running at 1280 X 1024... amybe someone at 800X600 would have issues with it?

Bleh, altho if they are running 800 X 600, they just have issues.

The sig thing wasn't even really directed at anyone posting here. Kioto's sigs aren't that big of a deal, I just don't want things to get too out of hand like on certain other boards I've seen. The trend was creeping up on us. Kioto doens't have to get rid of his sigs, it'd just be courteous to choose one. And I like Ike's sigs.

Ok, clipper was working fine, for the first week, now it doesnt work anymore. Guess its the same problem as Fraps too.

It will take screenshots of my desktop, but it wont take any of FFXI.

Any other programs out there that are decent?

Hmm that's really strange, I've been using Clipper for months now with no problems.

I don't know of any other good programs besides Clipper and Fraps so perhaps just try a few things to get it working again: reinstall it(?), try cleaning out the pictures in the Clipper folder, shut down and restart program, change your screenshots key. I know some of these might be stupid ideas but I really have no idea why it would randomly stop working.

Tried all those. But i gues there's only one option left.

As to why it's taking screenshots of your desktop... are you running windower by chance? Any type of media player? Do you have a flash-based or otherwise animated desktop wallpaper?
