It doesn't matter how long he's been camping it. If he's camped it for 100+ hours and never been able to get anyone to help him kill it he should take it out on the people that wouldn't help, not on us. I also understand he sent a tell to Fattino of "You had your chance" when the claim was stolen. I won't say this happened for sure since its hearsay at the moment, but if it is true it solidifies the fact that this was a blatant and intentional steal when an agreement was arranged that no stealing would happen.

Look, it boils down to this.

CKD had the mob down to 10% when our NINs died, no big deal, since the PLD wernt Meleeing (since its aoe is strong, its a waste of MP to have them melee) the nm went Yellow. I dont think any of CKD thought hokuten would steal it so we were lax about the idea of it going yellow. I guess that was a mistake.

the fight was far from over, we still had PLD and Mages alive, a PLD easily could have jumped in, 2h'ed while the mages 2h'ed and easily chewed off the last 10% of life.

Now because of that, the people who are involved with stealing the NM are not welcome on our Dynamis Raids.

You don't need NIN for this NM anyways. We've done it many times with as little as 12 people (2 pld) no death. So whatever HK did is called steal no justification to it.

Kioto, you can find as many words from dictionary as you like but that doesn't mean you are right and you know it. Keep trying to justify it, anyone with an IQ over 80 will be able to tell that you are the wrong here.

i just feel bad for fattino, i feel like he gets overlooked a lot. he just wants a joyeuse so he can enjoy-euse the rest of his leveling. i went down there to check on the PH for fatt and it had not popped yet. fattino decided he wanted to just come down there with me and hang out and talk in the charyb room and kill devil manta's with me and just get a feel for the place.

we got it down to like 9% of its hit points, but by that time xiona and the red mage that was with us and I all had tons of hate on us. thats when i died. i immediately reraised and cured a bit but then azn, sang, and i all died. we still had more than half of the alliance alive but it went unclaimed for a second. it was then grabbed by hokuten and killed within maybe 3 minutes. all that after an hour of slow methodical fighting and tons of shihei.

oh well. at least littlejohn is happy, i like littlejohn.

Well there was alot more than HK supposedly "stealing" going on here that night. I was there and around there all night and finally warped when Chary had about Half life left because i was frustrated.

But anyway i guess ill tell some of the story about other mitigating factors in the situation. Not that it makes it right or anything but i cant say i wouldnt have done the same thing.

Earlier in the night i guess there was a little cat fight btw Kyilen and Ven. Kyilen was lving in Yuhtunga with Piro when i was on my way to camp for Chary. Sangsogin hops on the ship with me and i had no idea what was about to go on. So i go afk on the ship and eventually get off the ship and make my way over towards SSG. On my way i pass piro and he tells me to wait because theres gonna be a train coming. I figure ok ill save the day from some noob (not claling Sang a noob just thought it would be some lvl 25 war with no ssub coming along) who doesnt know how to play the game and is about to run die with 15 gobs. About 2-3 minutes later Sang runs by with Ven and about 10-15 gobs give or take, he runs right in the middle fo their camp and blows himself up how nice. So i simply Ga the gobs and hang out for a bit. After Sang was done having his fun and Ven as well, i got some freinds together and left for SSG.

Here we ran into whisp xiona and Fatt. Killed some devil mants and then after about 30-1hr 2 mantas popped in the room. Chary then popped and i accicently claimed by using my HNM macro/thingy. Well me LJ Sase and the rest Kited for a good 5-10 minutes i guess prob less, hoping that some LS members would get there. We died none the less. So after about watching him sit there for about 10 minutes a bunch of Hokuten guys show up and we have a decent alliance. Many of whom though had not fought any bigger NMs like that (i dont wanna call him an HNM). So we fight for about 5-10 and lose, However mind you there was still at least 1-2 of us alive when Sang comes in with Ven and the rest claims the NM. Do i think we would have or could have won? NO, not one bit. But isnt that stealing in the same sense if we are not all wiped?


Also all of the LS knew that Sang had tried to MPK piro and kyilen that night so im sure they wanted to get him back blah blah blah. I dont know who was left alive when HK claimed nor do i care really... If Kotee Dia and the rest of the upper lvl HK was there im pretty damn sure they made the correct judgement, if not just for being pissed off at Sang and Ven. So i guess if you wanna keep your claim sometimes dont bring in those type of people to help you out.

And kotee didnt post here to brag to you guys or anything like that he is much to modest if you know him at all. He posted here because he felt it proved that the claim was legitamate (sp) and that they were all gonna die easily within prob the next 15-30 seconds. So was the claim premature? Maybe. Were there mitigating factors yes there definately were. Im happy LJ got the sword, im sorry Fattino didnt get the sword.

IN hinesight, If you ask me the best move would have been to just ally in the beginning and have ME, LJ and Fattino lot after it was defeated. But i think thats against "THE CODE OF THE DOJO" or something isnt it?

Good point on the allying idea... Actually fattino considered doing that, Tell me Rakeen whats Hokuten code? STealing NMs? Training NA's and JPs and MPKing ? NOt that i want to point fingers or accuse. Stealing a NM from an NA isn't something i would EVER do but people on your side want to cross the line so don't come to us and me and talk about the so called CODE

As you all know we have many CKD members that switch in our LS and chit chat and want not. Thats all good and all but last night we had a couple OOPSIES when in LS chat. WE had a couple members of CKD who were in LS accidently miss their deisired target with things like "Dont help them. What the %#$% are you doing. Thats agianst the code yatayata. I think that right their pissed enough people off to justify emotions running high and not wanting to lose out on the NM. So thats what im talking about when i say "The code", no we dont have any specific code that i can speak of in HK. I think we run it on a player by player basis. If you wanna help a freind get a sword or an item feel free to do so. Now i respect your LS codes and such to a point but when we have that sort of Chat going off in our LS you can see how it can get messy and emotional fast.

Like Shiloh said, if it went unclaimed for 1-2 seconds that means that Vinnie must have been spamming that stun macro, which means he had EVERY intent on stealing. You can't justify that, so just deal with the consequences. There's no need to argue about it here, the deed has been done, the consequences will be dealt with. Arguing is only digging a deeper hole.

If you wanna say emotions running high, well, all I can say is that the people made the decision, let them deal with the consequences.

CKD rule #1.

HNM huntung is exlusive in LS. Why? Because we are very carfull with our loot. We default most stuff and 9/10 times we are camping an NM for a specific person.

CKD is a real HNM ls with a set amount of rules. I dont force anyone to stay in LS, people can leave if they dont like the rules.

Tell me, why would anyone help someone fighting an HNM that you were after? Ive never seen this happen between any of the HNM Links Ive camped with. I mean after its all said and done, you raise them and help after.

This whole thread is getting worse with people trying to make the other party look bad.

I know you guys were mad at sangsogin but wasnt he who Piro asked to lead hokuten in while Piro took a break? I didnt even know he wasnt in hokuten until after the fact.

You all had to know that I was going to come in here with my two cents on the issue.

I havent been on Ifrit since Dynamis last Sunday and seeing this actually hurts my eyes to be honest. I am going to contend with the fact that NAs should stick together and help each other out in times of need, such as this situation.

Although i have a Hokuten pearl now and I'll probably get into some shit for saying this, but whoever claimed the mob first should be the one who killed it. (Like I said I havent been around so I have no clue which Linkshell actually did this.)

Personally If CKD was fighting the mob first and I showed up with another LS, I wouldnt dream of taking the mob especially if it were at 10% health, EVEN IF IT WAS A FULL WIPE! To me its the simple fact of the work put into the NM to begin with. I would gladly raise the dead and see them have another go. HNMs are a shitty thing on this server because there is soooo much competition.

Once again, I dont know the details of what transpired, nor do I know who grabbed the mob first, but I think its time to put away the petty differences that linkshells might have, or members of linkshells at that, and start to become an actual community. The Japaneese did it and look how prosperous they are at the game.

I thought things were heading that way because of the Dynamis raids hosted by CKD. We all know they have the manpower to do it themselves and probably be more successful at it than with a full 64 person raid, but by allowing other people from other Linkshells to go, CKD has opened the gates which bar linkshells from cooperating and let us play with each other. Thats how it should be on everything, including HNMs)

And if you hate someone so much that you cant play with them, well then thats what Ballista is for, beat the shit out of that person there to take out your stress.

Like Kylien said, I have friends on both CKD and HK so I dont want to take sides, but seeing all of unified is something that maybe we should hope for, in the long run.
