The thing i find most amusing is the random equipment combinations... like seeing a PLD in BLM JSE and a DRK in DRG JSE. lol |

it's called computing power... I have almost close no filter and I am running fine... I guess it really depend on your video card and your computer speed and probably memory size/speed... anyway very nice shoot (better than the once we have seen before from other people) ^^ |

Dynamis shadows are 100% new to me and to everyone on this raid. I need every tiny bit of info I can get. I need to have dmg filters open for everyone since for most the fight i have the expanded chat window open to see whats going on. What attacks are hitting who, how much damage the attacks are doing. I need to know whos hitting how hard and whos missing all the time. Im always working when doing the raids, hence me being so burnt out after. |

I get dizzy if I have no filters on. For me, it's not a matter of computing power, just brain power. lol |

Sowwie Yummyness, didnt mean to ruin it; ; Maybe if you change a model file locally you might be able to make your dream come true. I'll look into it^^ |

Nah... I'm not going to change any .Dat files... I'll just mess with the model viewer... should be easy enough to find the pieces. Head: Assassin's Bonnet Body: Chainmail Hands: Chain Mittens Legs: Assassin's Culotte Feet: Assassin's Poulaines (can't see them in pic but that's what he was wearing) Weapon: Looks like upgrade #1 of the relic dagger. (Malefic Dagger) |

I just want to take the time to say that they really need to change Optical Hat model. It looks so lame. Haha. |
Author: | Yarr [ Mon Jan 03, 2005 12:18 pm ] |
Post subject: | |
Its garbage. They really just need to make it look like the Genbu helm or something like that. Theres a million models they could use. The tall hat is one of the dumbest hats in game and its the hat that matches a mage outfit, so why they used that is beyond me. |
Author: | Yummy [ Mon Jan 03, 2005 12:20 pm ] |
Post subject: | |
They probably made it the ugliest model ever just cause... well there has to be a reason to wear that ugly ass hat. Well that and they just wanted to be mean. |

Maybe it has something to do with the meaning of Hakutaku, or maybe the nature of the quest itself. But here's a few pics of the real Hakutaku Beast (Hakutaku no Zu). ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's some basic info about image abuve. Quote: Hakutaku or Baize is the name of a Chinese mythical beast with nine eyes (three on its face and six on its body). Believed to speak human language, the beast was said to appear during the reigns of virtuous rulers and was a popular motif painted not only in the Ryukyus, but also in Japan and China. In ancient China, the motif was used on robes to differentiate rank. The artist Gusukuma Seiho (Jiryo) is the earliest court painter ever mentioned in documents. Although he was born unable to hear and speak, he was an artist with outstanding abilities. Envoy Du S_nce, who visited the Ryukyus for the investiture of King Sho Ho, praised Jiryo's painting by commenting that his works were as exceptional as the works of prominent Chinese masters Gu H_tou and Wang Mojie. In another incident, when Jiryo's paintings were presented as gifts and displayed to a shogun, Japanese court painter Kano Yasunobu claimed that he would've liked to have Jiryo as a friend if he were to live in Japan. Several works of Jiryo's exist, but this painting is the only one that is sealed with a rakkan, proving it to be his. Kamakura Yoshitaro photographed this work before the war and noted that this work was preserved at the residence of Tomigusuku Choki
