funny thing is, hccmike dc'd like around chain 20, and we were able to keep it going until he got back around chain 28, lol. chain ended because of a lack of mobs unfortunately. we'll have to figure out a better path next time, because we could have easily kept going. |

I've seen chain 126 from some JPs. NA mnk pts on my server getting around 50s, so many damn skellies down there, its kinda hard not to get insane chains. I used to get chain 20+ in sky off weapons, if I ever do weapon pt again I'll post a pic of that. |

Very nice, ya it takes good timing and alot of mobs to do that. Either a good puller (brd preferably) or planning out a good route to take like in KRT. I have one of some chain 20's from weapons in sky, those are great parties but are so tiring :-( lol I'll see if I can dig that up. |

Yeah, a good BRD makes all the difference. I've had that same setup barely get Chain 10.

Here's that pic. Zargon was pulling actually as a rdm/nin I believe. The key IMO was actually Truhls. I've had 4rng parties there and if you pull too much hate you waste mp. With Truhls tanking we had a voker that could ease the mp usage and he was hitting 1k Rampages. Still not as nice as the mnk parties in KRT, but I think the strats are similar.

Dont have enough weapons in sky, and too much area to cover, you cant create a continuous loop of mobs in sky. If you could rng pts would be able to get the same numbers. |

If you check parser in sky, warrior often outdamage rng in skye

wth truhls is still alive? wtf....... i knew him when he was like lvl 10 or some shit heh(i was like 50). can anyone answer this did they change the timers on xp chains? because i got 7 chain the other day in a decently long fight, while last year on my thief a fight that takes 5s wont hit a chain 7. or is it just that we sucked a lot back then and now a days everyone has uber gear? respond please thx~ |
