Post subject:  Facial Rendering?

This has nothing to do with Fianl Fantasy but my wife recently asked me if there was someway I could render our faces together to see what our child may possibly look like...lol :? I use a Mac and have photoshop. Could I just get pics of our faces and make em 50% opaque then layer on top of each other? Or is there a much better way to do it in photoshop? If so could someone basically walk me through the process? Or is there some program for Mac that i could d/l to do this? I'd like to be able to mess with the facial features to make it look either more feminin or masculine as well...
Thought I'd ask here cause obviously some of you are very skilled with graphic apps, whereas I suck.

I use a mac too, and a while ago way back, there was this program called Morph, i think it was shareware then, but has since become freeware/open-source. I also believe someone made an updated version for Mac OS X, which can probably be found on http://www.versiontracker.com somewhere. I use to have laods of fun with this program. Not perfect for the child/baby thing.. but it may be a start.
