Well early yesterday morning I decided to sink some gil into alchemy, and got the last .6 I needed. Seeing as how it was full moon today, I left dynamis early to do some synthing..



1 synth NQ, 2nd synth HQ. Having like 10 dragon blood left I kept synthing and got all NQ lol.

They're most likely getting sold to my friend Skyryu for last AH price(8mil).

Oh and this is us after Alistor Antlion #4. ugh we're on like number 7 now. WHY DOESNT RDM GET THESE BOOTS!?

I have been watching the Cursed Gear section closely, and recently 2 pair of Cursed Greaves -1 got sent back to the seller. They arent THAT desirable. GL trying to get 10 mil for them. yea it costs what per synth? 300-350k? i understand theres probably loss involved, but you sure as hell aint getting 10 m for such a cheap synth lol

Actually Valisk thanks for that little bit of info. I guess I was kinda hung up on the difficulty of the synths making the value.

A few weeks back there was this mithra in Upper jeuno selling Cursed cuisses-1 for 10mil and they sold in like a day. What's that, 2 extra mp and hp? Also the cuisses cap at 92.

yea but cuisses have the 12% move speed so they are more popular probably, greaves isnt omfg uber gear if you ask me, its just decent stats lol really samewith body too, nobody really creams over crimson mail like they would a dalmatica lol

They really shouldnt have sold for 10 mil. Maybe someone was desperate and none were up for sale. But Cursed Cuisses -1 usually go up once a week and I believe they sell for 6-8 mil on AH. No reason for someone to pay 10 mil for it. Fatbong and other Alchemist whore those synths so the -1 Hands, Legs, and Feet usually go up once a week or every other week.

I really have no desire to have a dalmatica.

It's not that I've convinced myself that I'll never get it, (especially with the new claiming system,) so I think it's crap. No, I don't want it for a few reasons.

1- Not worth 7 million.
2- As a RDM I'm a stat whore, not an MP whore. I don't use all my MP in the course of a convert cycle anyway.

Am I discrediting it's worth? Not really, it just doesn't fit my playstyle.

your like the only rdm i know that favors crimson over dalmatica lol, and i so saw that coming when i posted it. haha

I just don't think the extra 20 MP per minute is enough to justify giving up

If I'm not getting resisted at all I use this over AF1 body a lot of the time.

-Better cures
Cure IV is 1mnd:1 point healed ratio. I use af2 because it's only a 3 point difference, but yeah.

-Defense
Crimson Scale Mail has the same defense rating as the level 73 PLD adaman body piece. lol


Anyway I've had this discussion with a lot of people and the list could go on and on, but I've totally gone off topic.

ss needs more macros ;p but any way crimson looks better then errant so it has a purpose :D

Apparently using 2 and a half sets of macros full of equipment changes isn't enough. ;p

Like I said, it has no practical use for me is all. I don't even know what I would macro it into. Convert macro? Use it for fighting Fafnir since there aren't a lot of times to rest?

only reason i see having dalmatica would be for refresh, but as a rdm the extra what 50 mp really doesnt make a difference if you can't land your debuffs in the first place
