I was thinking about Getting the New windower but is there anyway i can turn off some things such As TP knows and other things. I don't Care about that i just want to be able to jump to desktop when i want to double check things. thats all and with all the Stuff makes it to Cluttered for me.

Yes there is a way. Once you have downloaded the windower
and have it active, you can access the command menu (kinda like CS)
with the "~" key, and type the following:

unload tparty

OR, you can uncomment the auto plug-in load so it doesnt auto load.

On the scripts folder, open init.txt and make the following changes:

lol I wouldnt call someone a genius cause they know how to comment code. The timestamp feature looks nice though, Im always pressing F2.

i've been out in the sticks for the past 3 months, and had a dialup connection, so FFXI was very hard to do, but im back in college station now, so i should be whoring the boards a lot more often

O this is awesome! I wish they would come out with an English >> Japanese translator so you can talk to JP in english and they read it as JP(not just Autotranslate words) like actual conversations and when they speak back it's converted to EN. I know that would prob require a lot but I think would help the whole NA JP problem lol

would be very difficult seeing that Japanese language has a different word order than English. So if you directly translate word for word from English >> Japanese it would sound jumbled and not make much sense.

Its a shame windower doesn't work on my computer. :( POL resizes my desktop upon startup, so even in POL's natural window mode I can't navigate my pc in the background. :p

this whole jp thing tho you need to know how to speak b4 you type or you type in english and it comes out as jap?

You type in things in Hiragana, like you would if you were japanese.

I'm sure you'll be able to type Kanji and Kana like seen on the screenshot.

Obviously if you dont know japanese, you'll just write gibbarish.

But this is such a good feature to us who can write japanese and have
conversations.

There are plenty of players on both sides. To me, its just an addition,
being able to speak another language is only a plus.

Some people over do-it, that's the only downfall to this, imo.

i am 100% NA and i dont act like im jp in anyway what so ever. but i find this add Extremley useful~ as of right now, 1/3 of my pts are with jpn players. i have always talked to them in their language, and they seem to appreciate it, they know im not JP but they appriciate that i know the basic words and i dont have to use the auto translate function to communicate. with this add, i will finaly be able to fit right in, w/o trying to act like im asian or somthing.

I'm not NA anyways =p
