When I went to Jamiaca for my honeymoon, one of our tour guides called goats "Jamaican deer" as a joke. Probably because goats were everywhere, and they would walk out into the roads at times like deer. You wouldn't want to be a goat there...because they eat them. Curried goat was a popular dish (not for me). |
