God dammit, I quit, so I'm just going to say it cause I don't care. Here's the deal.
We've been in the game longer than any of the NA release player, whether it be sky, dynamis, NMs, HNMs, or CoP. This is without dispute, we were camping this stuff months and months before anyone else and basically had very little to show for it besides sky loot because of bugs in the claiming system that now everyone is willing to admit existed. That's funny because before I quit everytime we'd complain about getting outpulled because of the mobs being claimed before we even seen them we got called whining crybabies who don't know how to play. I'll tell you what, I'll match Ilma, Hcc, Rein and Ket against anyone on this server and watch them beat the hell out of you without trying, skill was never an issue and people are finally admitting it.
So basically we wasted a year camping day in and day out for 3-4 claims on regulars and 1 claim on each King. Only on one occasion did we train, and that was one persons actions not the LS's, but we are an LS and have to take responsibility for it, and not once did we steal a kill. We actually gave back a claim to KFC that changed to us because we felt it was the right thing to do.
No one else bothered to camp the kings because, what was the point? KFC and IW would get 99% of the claims pre-patch so you'd waste 3 hours for nothing so most other "HNM" shells at the time would spend time at Roc or Serket or trying to advance in Sky till they all caught up and were able to kill Kirin with ease. Basically we all got along at this point. I know everyone thought we were cocky, but we still held the Dynamis raids and alot of people always came to them.
Eventually Dynamis became a problem, I started noticing people who would win AF2, get the key item and not show up again till they needed either the key item again or needed AF2. I follow the logic, why waste 10-20k when you don't have anything to gain? Well f***ers its because people like Rein, Yarr, Ket and myself up to that point hadn't missed but maybe 1 raid and we didn't have AF2 from almost any of the starter cities save Bastok. Some were from FS yes, there were only 3-4 that were really bad about it, then they formed their own Dynamis LS, I think, to make us mad and attempt to kill most of our attendence because I read on their boards somewhere that they were the "backbone of our dynamis runs." Seeing CKDy kill the Dynamis Lord couldn't have been sweeter for me, and seeing Ket in a Shadow Mantle was even better, which brings me to my next point.
At the point where I actually left is where all this drama started happening. FS/KFC/CKD all in Aery and Arthar's killing Nidhogg with one spell, everything was so confusing, I was getting tells to move in and spam shield bash from Ultimaj, then was told to back away. There was so much confusion and lag. Vaelen, you know the first tell I sent you was congrats, and Ultimaj the first one I sent you was sorry you didn't get the title and glad you got the drops. Personally, I'm glad they gave you the items, but it sickened me to see you guys bowing to those... ugh... I won't bash on Clent because he's cool in my book but as I see him take that Earthen Abj Body, I'm looking at Rein and thinking he should've gotten that months ago. That's why I left...
I'm sitting here at work thinking, you may not like these people but Rein should've had gotten his earthen months ago, Ketrebu earned his Koening, Defending Ring and AF2 months ago, Ilma and Hcc should have the best gear because they are probably the best players on this server. This isn't about getting what you want, this is about getting what people deserve. If anyone can say Ket doesn't deserve full AF2 your either retarded or don't pay attention and it makes me sick to my stomache that I have AF2 and Koenig that is rotting on a character that I don't even play anymore.
Again I'm not saying you guys in FS, TTK and Valour haven't earned what you have gotten recently. You made the kills, you got the loot, way to go. All I'm saying is we earned this crap a long time ago and we're frustrated that people who have put in 10% of the work have 10 times the rewards.

I had a great time when it was early times with Dankaru and Schnatt. When Talisin, Mikey, Vael, UltimaJ, Yakum, Drakkan and many of the other FS members as well as non-members in VC and now it's like I log on and and wanna vomit. I had fun dying with Kaylia (sea), /poking HCC, telling Exo to STFU, telling Viviti to "never play this game again," late night chats with Chana, Mish, Kilik, DD, TAq and Poptart. Rofling with Eiketsu and serving as the designated driver with Ulgokiem during 99% of our adventures. I played on PS2, earned everything, and by now could care less who hacks / cheats /bots. I don't know if Zilart hacked and I'm a fate-sealer myself, truthfully by now I could care less, however I have seen hypocrits, haters and the drama is worse than the bloody rags of co-workers Mikey has to work with. So I have one last event for everyone before I retire for good. That's right in the middle of a drama filled bashing I am announcing my retirement from FFXI, "I have beat the game! My official retirement announcement will appear in the next week or so along with my own special Mikey-esque event where the game is what it should be.....fun! The victor of this event attains 1 prized trump crown, the rest of my gill will be apportioned amongst friends. There will also be a fare-well event that may be fun as well if I plan it right ^^;
