In the upcoming X-men movie. One of the main Hero's will be Beast. He will be played by the well known Kelsey Grammer AKA Fraser or Sideshow Bob.

At first I was like. Hmmmm No. Then I thought about this. If it was a cartoon would his voice and speach style suit Beast? Beast was well known for his amazing vocabulary and brains. I think if it was a cartoon he would be probably the best person to do the voice. Then I realized that Beast is probably going to have some massive make-up and costume. So maybe this would be a good thing after all.

Or maybe not.

The voice works for beast but seeing a big blue Kelsey Grammar....just...no

lol thats what I was thinking, but the things you can do with costumes\CGI these days are insane.

Still, imagine watching Frasier if kelsey grammar was blue...really just think about it. Plus Kelsey Grammar is like half bald...beast has a full head of hair

Well beast has huge hands and feet. Remember his character wasnt always covered in blue fur. Beast actually made a small apperance on Xmen2. Not many people caught it. I noticed it. He was on some TV in a talk show. At this point in X-2 he had not experimented on himself to get the blue fur. I cant remember if he had large hands (giggle) or not.

So there is even the chance he might not have fur. After all it was when Beast tried to fix his mutation that he grew fur, ears, sharp teeth and what not. I think he was human for the original apperance in X-men 1 (Giant Issue from the 50s)

I think it could work. The voice for sure would work and I could see a pre-mutated Beast as Kelsey Grammar, but as for him in a full Beast outfit, that will be interesting. Then again I thought that Tobey Maguire would suck as Spiderman and I was wrong about that. So this could be a good fit, and god forbid bring a good actor into a comic book movie ^^

It would work. Most of beast will be done like the Hulk....but more life-like.

I like the idea of Kelsey Grammer as Beast. I think he fits the role, with the proper makeup and costume, very well.

i think kelsey grammar is a great pic for him, obviously his body will probably get some work in some way, but his face and speech make him perfect for the part imo
