yarr can probably remember "Tuesday we don't exp" lol
season 4 starts january 9th-- two hour commercialfree episode, then hour2 is the next day january 10th, weekly monday night 9pm in 2005

OK back on topic
i laughed my ass off in the bookstore the other day, i saw a book titled "Michael Moore is a big fat stupid white man" lol
but seriously, i don't consider myself left or right wing, but i did go see Fahrenheit 9/11 and was very impressed (up until that point the only opinion i ever heard voiced was Bush is godsent and Kerry is two-faced over and over and over). it was refreshing to hear a different opinion, considering i had my own thoroughly negative opinions on bush but i thought i was the only person in the world who did. so i went out and bought some michael moore books, read em, and i am very impressed. michael moore is also not left or right wing. he'll speak out against anyone, left or right. has anyone sat through all of F9/11 or read his books and not been impressed?

the golden rule of apologetics is: everything can be refuted even if no one agrees with your refutation

"Some call you the elite, I call you my base."
Bush is referring to how they were his primary donors. He's just showing them respect, there is nothing wrong with that. NEXT!! What else do you have that I can instantly refute?

See how easy that was?

Hmmm.

Micheal Moore is a talented filmaker but he does have an agenda and his film is one sided, Please watch farenhype 9/11 this film is the counter to Farenheit 9/11. Why will Micheal moore not go on and defend his views against the likes of Sean Hannity and Bill O'reiley? is he scared or does he know that they will rip him to shreds.

Moore, like any un-substantied hypercritical prophetic, can't defend himself. He relies on sensationalism to back his claims and press his views. Rational thought destroys him.

Impressed that he's a raving lunatic who will use any version of mis-stated facts or outright falsehood no matter how unbelieveable to try to make his vision of reality believable? If you mean impressed in that matter, than yes, I have been impressed that someone would try to convince people that they are being duped, by duping them. That's audacity!

Michael Moore brings up interesting points like how the main contributor to Dubya's oil ventures (which turned out to be failures) was Salem(sp?) Bin Laden, osama's brother. He gave Bush million(s) of dollars.

Also how members of the Bin Laden family were meeting with Bush Sr. the day of (or was it day before) the 9/11 attacks for business talks.

And how the Bush family has interests in an oil pipeline that goes through Afghanistan and Iraq which they will see nice profits from since they are deeply rooted in Unocal Oil Company.

And how the new leader of Afghanistan was one of the Bushs' business partners at Unocal.

And how most of the terrorists that struck on 9/11 were actually from Saudi Arabia.

And how the Bush Administration edited out 20-something pages from the 9/11 Commission's report because it spoke of Saudi Arabia's involvement in 9/11.

I dunno, these things seem interesting to me. Are you guys saying none of that is true?

Michael Moore lies, constantly....in almost every scene.

yea i've looked at that bowlingfortruth website a couple of times. i dont see any refutations to any of the important points, but rather lots of little nit-picky things like how secret service usually does guard the embassies, and how showing frolicking pre-war iraqis is supposed to be moore suggesting iraq was content with saddam. did you watch Fahrenheit 9/11?

Didn't play here, honestly. I refuse to give Moore money, as well.

And c'mon, in the first article it proves Moore is a lier about the whole Vacation bullshit.

Actually it was his prime source for commercialization of the film. Every clip on every talk show was him on vacation, and so were his trailors.

Last I checked Bush had a small lead in Penn....It's closer to swing than slightly Kerry really.

the presidential election is like two weeks away. it will be a photo-finish. the Guardian-UK (which i often consider a better source of american news than our own media) is now asking Americans in swing states to vote Kerry. they have no business meddling in our election. they are a british paper.

Dont like the Guardian, never have. In Britian i believe it's considered by the working class as a paper that snobs (people who think they are better than others) would read. I'm not saying thats a true statement or anything but the guardian didnt really give a broad based outlook of the whole country.

The Guardian is considered a rag even by British standards. It would be the equivalent of our National Enquirer as far as Journalistic integrity. Most British I have spoken with consider it to be a left of center publication (By British standards), so by American standards it would fall somewhere just short of the liberal anti-christ.

That being said, this was my absolute favorite reply letter written to them in response to their moronic letter writing campaign:

Quote:
My dear, beloved Brits,
I understand the Guardian is sponsoring a service where British citizens write to Americans to advise them on how to vote. Thank heavens! I was adrift in a sea of confusion and you are my beacon of hope!

Feel free to respond to this email with your advice. Please keep in mind that I am something of an anglophile, so this is not confrontational. Please remember, too, that I am merely an American. That means I am not very bright. It means I have no culture or sense of history. It also means that I am barely literate, so please don't use big, fancy words.

Set me straight, folks!
Dayton, Ohio
