So about 4 months or so ago I was informed of a certain lvl 3 whm with the name Mrpopo. After beating myself up for not making a mule with this name to avoid imposters i proceeded to give this guy crap in hopes that he would start over with a different name. Needless to say he is now lvl 26 and is trying to make peace with me. (lol yeah right)

Anyway ever since he has started people are always asking him if he is my mule. He has recently informed me that this drives him nuts.

So now I would like to ask a favor of anyone who would like to have some fun and put a smile on my face.

Please send Mrpopo tells asking him: Are you Misterpopo's mule? or Why did you level your mule so high? etc...

Thousands of ppl play FFXI, you can't expect to be the only one who can think of a name like Mrpopo. You don't have proof that he copied you :P .
I know when I was a LV26 newb it took me forever to get there(died a lot).. lol I'd hate to start over.

There's people named Arrown and Arowyn I just don't care that much because Arrowyn is cooler and everyone knows I was around first =p

and the name isnt that original considering its a cartoon character name

dont overanalyze this, its for pure amusement purposes, and to be honest mrpopo and i are kinda friends in the game (i helped him with kazham keys)
i just like to hear him whine about getting asked if he's my mule


btw i know aerowynn lol

In daoc my old guild (the one before CKD) decided to have a secret event.

What was that event?

Make a level 20 alt named Yarrrrr to Yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Needless to say there were 15+ level 20 Yarrrrrs messaging me asking me why I stole their name.

I didnt think it was funny at first cause i had no idea who it was haha.

But then again he was a lvl 75 SMN+ lvl 75 BLM, before I was lvl 60 BLM. heh~

I actually partied with him once... we didnt talk though. Clearly some sort of sibling rivalry.

There is some japanese guy with my same model named Havoc...is a 75mnk though.

heh, when i first started...i was like lvl 5 or so, i get the /tell from someone

"change your name my friend wants that name"
..uhh no thanks, im going to keep it...

and from there he sends me a tell every 10 minutes for a few hours telling me to change it lol

later on i actually met the guy who had wanted the name...turns out he named himself Swifthavok instead and of all the jobs he picked he was a dragoon also lol. also partied with some guy named Havokdestroyer or some crap like that

When I was lvling drg, there was a guy named Thunderclease who was a drg also. I mean come on, what the hell is a "clease" ?

Nope, Denchi is pretty unique.

But only because no one wants to name their character fucking "Battery" in jpn, lol. But I like it. it's catchy, and I think the Jpn players can appreciate my effort.

We just learned "Denchi" in Japanese class and i was like "omglolawesome" and went home and installed FFXI and used that name.

Well, you cant really get too mad over people having similar names when your name isnt original...

Mr Popo is from Dragon Ball, so you can't really get mad over that, just because someone else thought it might be clever that someone else watched the same show, haha.

Also, Thunderclease is from The Brak Show on Adult Swim.

Just like I cant get mad at the tons of people with names based off of Vivi from FFIX, hahaha.

I've seen Vvti, Vivivi, Vivita, Viviana, etc etc.

There is a lvl 75 RNG on our server named Kuuya...I'm hoping he/she makes a typo mistake sending gil from a mule or something :lol: One could only wish...
