Nah, Skye and I were the first NA DRKs. Always a level or two away from each other. Everyone else was very far away. lol And at the time it was easy to keep track of other players of the same job.

I bought the game november 2003, but didnt play till around january because my dorms had the port blocked, but the next semester it was working. I think im oldschool. i can remember comin to this site and seeing all the screenshots and being like "wow, i wanna be like these guys"

The first NA in full AF was Wang wasnt it. I remember Lamont talking shit caus wang /shouted his way to full AF from JPs haha.

I got the game the day it came out for PC but I never really leveled that fast... probably because I started out as a subjobless thf and had no idea what I was doing, haha. Even when I changed to whm I still leveled absurdly slowly, and I took off weeks at a time to farm then go level cooking. I was always anon until like lv 60+ so noone ever knew who the hell I was. ;_; I think I only started going unanon when I got Bastok rank 10 because I was so proud of that, haha.

I do like how things used to be though, I did mostly everthing 'the hard way' which all you guys seem to praise so much. I really detest seeing people having their hand held through stuff like LBs, AFs, etc now... I did all that stuff with many *many* hours of work, and usually many deaths. I also liked when Jps would actually offer to help out, out of the blue... I was with a friend in Gusgen trying to help him get a magicked skull and some Jp miner randomly offered to help... that kind of stuff doesn't really happen now, heh. I also remember talking to him in roumaji and he was all impressed... now half the time if I do that I get "I don't speak any English". So much has changed. O_o;

*Random memory* I also met Fattino on his war in Qufim in an awesome pt that lasted for like 4 hours, he kept asking me "Are u really a girl?" and running in circles around me, haha. I guess some things are still the same ;p

You're most likely right that he wasn't the first nor do I actually need to argue about it. To say that I'm not old school is a different matter. While at the very least i've seen and heard alot of things since i've been playing since launch. I may not have reached 1 or 2 LV70+ jobs but that's because I've done other things that are more accomplished than playing this game like manage a full load at my univeristy for 3 years, work full-time. juggle with a social life and manage to mantain a full relationship with a girlfriend for the same amount of time. So don't dare say that' I'm not an old-schooler son before you get school yourself kids.
