Usually you'd know if your speed hacking or not, like, don't you have to set something up outside the game? I dunno if you were hacking or not but if you were speed hacking I don't think I'd "/say WOW LOOK AT HIM GOOO!!! LOLOL!!1" I'd just call a GM and report it.

They rather not say hey you are using a speed hack stop before the GM catches you because only the person who called the GM knows they are coming. The rest of the people there probably were either laughing, afk, or just watching its life go down and hoping to warp out after they get the timer. I am sure both you and the GM know what you were doing.

You always seem to think you are right Zilart, but I have never seen you be anything but wrong. On FS boards they stop the thread and delete posts to make you look good. Nobody is saving your retarded ass here. Good job using hacks in front of everyone. I really doubt anyone would do something that obvious when I think about it though. I had to go afk and literally fell asleep after PhonexDown wiped, lol, so I didn't get to see you tank it. Like I said, I don't know. What did the GM tell you anyway? I mean, if anything, showing screenshots with the GM going "Oops my bad" would end this pretty quickly, right? In some situations I'd trust what the GMs see over players.

I was there...some of our guys noticed you running significantly faster at unusual times, like right after a job ability. Our guys didn't care enough to report some shitty NA cheating, but others in the area did. You were investigated by a GM and placed in jail after the fight. What other proof do you need?

oh and Zilart. GMs will not ban you unless they are 100% sure. GMs also wont ban you with out a warning. So I assume this is probably not the first time.

Actually GM's can track if you've been using teleport and/or speed hacks.

They can profile your character which scans logs to determine your path of movement over a period of time. All it has to do is check the distance between a random Point A and Point B on your movement path, and compare it to the speed your character should be able to move. Obviously the profiler can take into account any usage of Flee items, Job abilities, etc, since all of those are logged by the server too.

They've been able to scan for speed hacking ever since the CPU overlock exploit. But in order to do it they need to run a tool on your character, so they won't do it unless you're reported.

Anyway, actually I was writing an e-mail on my laptop and not even watching the fight for the most part, lol. I figured FS were going to have no trouble killing it so I was semi-afk.

Near the end of the fight I got a tell from someone to see if I could keep up with Zilart, so I ran a couple of laps and didn't notice anything that didn't look like lag. I mean everyone was skipping around the zone because of how many people were there.

But I only really paid attention to the last 10% or so, so if some hack was used at the beginning or something I wouldn't have noticed. Is this proof either way? Not really, just more input, lol.

haha Ket was getting all sortsa tells saying "zilart is speed hacking, watch" so just because we dont clue you in so you can stop and not get banned doesnt mean it was going on. i wasnt following you but there were plenty of people who were. saw you randomly pop on my screen, pause, then take off so w/e.

and a GM banning you is proving you did it, they dont just do things for the hell of it. its actually very hard to get banned for things because ive never been able to get 1 single gil seller when theyre blatent.
