Notice that the first image is Diabolos, and the second is what appears to be a "dark" Valkurm. My guess is that the image shown is, in fact, Dynamis-Valkurm.

(Spoilers btw...)

If you're a decent way into CoP and you've completed Dynamis, you'll know that Diabolos is the ruler of Dynamis, not the Dynamis Lord (he's just a manifestation of Raogrimm's soul). Upon completing Dynamis, you're effectively told that it's not over yet, because Dynamis still exists as long as Diabolos continues to dream it.

Therefore my theory is that update = new Dynamis, irl.

Also, the image of Bahamut is interesting. Perhaps they're finally going to add a HNM battle/BC for him, who knows.

The second image with the tree has a dark sky like Dynamis.

Maybe Dynamis - Valkurm will actually become real o .o

I just hope to god they make it so you have to kill Dynamis Lord to continue the Dynamis story. I would be seriously dissapointed if you could just walk into a new Dynamis zone meaning killing the Dynamis Lord and getting the key item would have had no purpose at all.

I think so far this is the strongest evidence that there is going to be a new Dynamis Update soon.

I have my fingers crossed. Espcially since Dynamis is getting a little Slow. almost 2 years of doing the same 6 zones is starting to wear thin.

o_o I wonder if the mega-bosses for the new zones would be Bahamut and Diabolos! Anyways, interesting information. They should add a Vanguard Emporer or something in too. Lmao, I swear I know a few people that would wanna horribly mame something like that on sight. :twisted:

Btw, that third pic with the MNK NPC disturbs me a little bit. lol.

Bahamuth was the ruler of Al'taieu? right? My best guest is that he is a rare pop of Absolute Virtue.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a level cap dynamis, and require final CoP mission again :P

omg if they do make Dynamis - Dunes and cap it at 20 id kill myself...dunes seem like itd be a good place for dynamis tho..wide open...imagine goin through the sand bat tunnels tho..death traps...but if they do, do a dynamis - dunes, do u think theyd extend the time allowed in that zone? dunes is a HELL of a lot bigger than any of the city zones (PS ive never been in ice, so it may be same as ice, i really dont know)

It probably won't have anything to do with dynamis at all. Its most likely an extention to the limbus system they've implemented. Think about it for a second, dynamis drops af2 for all types of current jobs, it wouldn't make sense to add a new dynamis zone. Unless it had another purpose, IE - af1 upgrading. Unless they decide to go about it the other way, and do af2 upgrading

Wouldnt shock me if they did AF2 upgrades in a new Dynamis Zone.

You need to remember that the Goblin who upgrades Relic weapons says he upgrades "Relic armor and weapons" atleast he use to. I'm pretty sure he still says that.

Would make sence, but on the other hand, what about the people who cant get into any of the Dynami zones? SE knows that not everybody is able to kill the DL. Therefore I am left you guess that it will be purely CoP based, not RoZ.

drg isn't nerfed. ^^;

really the whole tp adjustment was made to nerf monks. It was due to their relic weapon that made SE rethink the whole TP gain system.

Really though if it in some way benefited dragoon, I'll be pleased. Its sort of wait and see at this point. Of course a part of me doesn't want to see half-assed drg's suddenly be god, I'd rather it be something that only the gungho players who really worked for their honor be able to take advantage of. If it were spell or job ability related, I would assume they would call it that. So probably just has something to do with battle to mob relations.Whatever it is, must be signifigant though, as typically they don't mention minor adjustments in spoilers.
Minor nerfs are usually at the bottom of the final update tally in small print hoping you wont notice.
-NPC level cap has risen to 60
-Changed spelling of item "Panzer Mask" to "Panther Mask"
-Fucked up the job class Blackmage a little

(etc)


The various dynamis zones (valkrum, Tav safehold, bubu, and qufim) have been in the dat. files since forever and a day. Even more was added such as graphic barriers to the exit zones on the CoP installation.
Even though Dynamis is largely a Zilart manifest, its still strongly tied to Diabolos which is in turn related to CoP. So I guess they could get away with a new version of dynamis but still keep with the CoP themes. Perhaps, it has somethign to do more directly with diabolos.
What on earth can drop from there, i have no idea. Whatever it is it'll probably take 2-3 years before you actually benefit from doing it. ;)

Or watch it be something totally lame that you can only do with your npc buddies. heehee.

I hope they make fishing like...actually fun again.
