lol, you can't really ask us to disadvantage ourselves cuz your team did not show up. Trust me, we would have wanted a 6v6. If it wasn't an official match, we would have evened things.

Thanks for the kind wishes, Cail. Not much chatter on the server about this, but as a humble member of JoS (not on the ballista team), I will tell you that our team is very capable, very serious about getting prepared for the finals and definitely psyched up! I truly believe they will represent the server well.

rofl, you weren't the only other team on the server. Our Ballista team beat many others, who showed up with skill and a full team. You weren't the final match, you were the second, don't act like you were robbed because two ppl from your team didn't give a shit. I will give you credit for having a partial turn out, at least you didn't completely forfeit.

Team JoS took this event very seriously and worked their asses off for their Star Caps. They showed up to the matches prepared and I hope they do as well against teams from other servers as they did against Ifrit.

Joining of Six, old linkshell thats been reborn a few times IIRC. Although I dont really look at linkshells that have been reborn as old. If JoS had never been remade I would probably consider it to be the oldest linkshells on the server.

I guess it means we all go to church or something.

Generally speaking its when a linkshell changes leadership and is changed totally to where the linkshell is "dead" and then something happends and everyone comes back. Like Hokuten. JoS was always alive but the leader left and all the original members left to other linkshells. The leader came back and now the linkshell is coming back to life.

I didnt follow to close to JoS. I always like JoS since Ive know about them forever. They started forming on the Shadow-Dragon forums before launch. I just randomly ended up on the same server. Shadow-Dragon forums were the place to be during beta. That and FFIXonline.

Actually the leader of JoS was Cherie for over 2 years and it was the same shell until it recently reformed 2 months ago. Oh and all of our original members didn't change linkshells... they all have long since quit.

I began forming the shell about 2 months before the game released on PC. My buddy and I made a small website and advertised it on both Shadow Dragons and FFXIonline. We called it The Joining of Six because six of us RL friends were planning to play (only three of us actually did), and it was cool that you could also have six players in a party, so it made a nice kind of sense.

The shell lasted for a long time as a community chat place, although there was always a more serious feel to it since we recruited most the members from forums pre-release. After a good while, too many people had quit and I was stingy with getting new members, so I merged it with another community linkshell and called it On Broken Wings. That lasted a short while before I grew tired of it, so I re-started JoS as an endgame shell.

When I quit, they just got a new pearl so they could rearrange sackholders, since I only had maybe 3 sackholders on the blue pearl. Now, it's still the same group, just with a new color. I'd say JoS was "reborn" only once.
