I'm not sure, but I think he meant that people were doing the act of trolling against him, by jumping into the topic and flinging poo around like monkies. Also, I think he said this mainly because we were discussing the fact that his MPK strategy reflects on how he deals with this problem.

Case in point: Treetsatet believes he's just in doing this, and has the ability to compensate others for their time and efforts spent making other players in game lives horrible.

MPKing is childish for one, and second of all, if you are too scared/insecure/hypocritical to MPK these people yourself then you have just slide to the bottow of the Sludge pool. i think a large amount of ffxi players have sacrificed something to play this thing haha. i cant blame ffxi for what ive screwed up on though, simply because if it wasnt ffxi it'd be hanging out to late with friends... or watching tv to late. one thing is for sure, ffxi teaches you how to prioritize things in your life. life has a way of repeating your failures over and over in a forceful way to teach you to take a different path.

back on topic, i still dont understand how MPKing is going to make the game not fun or better yet get you the items back. i know that 99% of the time you can easily avoid a mpk. monsters dont instant aggro so unless your cornered or dont see the train (highly unlikely) then this thread is just you having a cry.

lets rationally take a look at this. the entire server knows who the big gil sellers are. so how do they still make money? because noone really gives a shit, noone is willing to ban using the AH for materials because thats an inconvience. same goes for the guy who took your osode. noone in this game respects a rep anymore because all the 12-16 year old ps2 noobs. longtime ago the things you did mattered, now it doesnt.

theres always someone who will invite him to xp, theres always someone who will invite him to a LS, theres always a way for him to make gil. you think 2400 xp is going to make someone quit? haha the game is far more addictive than that. its hard to make someones life hell when they can just logout when they get aggrivated and login later on. maybe, just maybe you should look at the character of the tools you throw pearls at now. CKD had a member yoink an item (staff), now people look at the character and not just skills of the player.

if they act like a child chances are they are a child. if they spam arguements in shout (temper tantrum?), threaten people in tells (because thats really scary lol), run casinos (shows just how lazy someone can be), and how they act when they get pist (shit look at your own forums, those arent posts of intelligent thinkers.. thats cry babies who will take your shit because theyre mad and itll spite you). but keep in mind this leaves you with far less player, so better hope that you have skill and not numbers. which i dont see happening anytime soon.

dont get me wrong i have a few friends in TTK, they know im not talking about them. shit im sure they prolly feel the same way about some of these people lol. so in conclusion, if you dont learn from youre own mistakes... youre bound to repeat them.

that right there made me realize why you dont tell your members to hold their tongue about certain shit. heres an example, Valisk is known for going off the handle. when it happened on this forum we told him to slow his roll, end result i dont see valisk behaving the same way on our forums. what he does on your forums im sure isnt totally not provoked either (the threads started just to tell him off and get him started were quite amusing).

when the shepard fails to herd the flock, the sheep end up in a river or eatten by a larger predetor. not saying by being in a LS your a sheep but youre supposed to at least follow the general rules set forth. most sheep get a large say in what those rules are (at least here they do), so when you let people go off the handle like that consistantly its assumed either A the leadership thinks its ok, or B the entire LS thinks its ok.

yarr may be an asshole but guess what... we all are. that is a safe assumption, and we've never tried to play it off like we arent. just because youre used to it doesnt mean the people who visit your public forums are going to be
