I just wrote an exam and made a really stupid mistake. I left the exam feeling pretty good, until I talked to a couple of friends. The first question was something like, "Comment on the significance of Daisy's final message to Winterbourne in Daisy Miller." Well, somehow from this I wrote an entire paragraph on Lily's final comment to Seldon in House of Mirth - a completely different novel!!! And the whole exam I'm thinking, hmmmm, why didn't she have a question on Daisy Miller? I can't even understand how this happened. I'm in shock. So I went and got drunk at Swiss Chalet and passed out on the train.

I do that all the time. I think i Do awesome on a Exam or test and I do horrable on it. So basicly the Way i know i failed is if i feel about how i did or not.

I made a mistake last week like that! I was supposed to write a research paper on the "Suzuki Method", so I wrote 5 pages on the music teaching method. then on the day I was supposed to turn it in I found out I was supposed to research the Suzuki Method for acting, not teaching music. I was so mad.

Why wait to get drunk after the exam? The real trick is to get drunk during the exam! Let me tell you, a water bottle looks the same with either water or vodka. Just don't breathe too hard, people might smell it. Reading your drunken answers and funny handwritting is priceless.

drinking before an exam is actually a good idea. i dont mean completely hammered but slightly shit faced is quite relaxing. it also lets you be a little less inhibited so youll feel more confident with leaving your first answer as opposed to erasing/changing what you wrote. the hard part is finding out how many drinks it takes to get in the optimal buzz zone =p

Talisin fails to mention that it was a color by numbers test.

Simple equations that equate to 7 means you color the area in red, Talisin, not green. Bad Talisin!

I've done some similar things to that, though, Princess... Not so much in a literature-based class, though, as I took more sciences. There's nothing quite like hand-writing out a whole bunch of C-code on an exam, only to later realize you did something completely different from what was asked.

I love essays, though, as you never really need to have done all your work in order to sound like you have. I passed so many upper-division history classes without reading a single book, simply because I can type a lot and sound like I know what I'm talking about. (Many of you can attest to the typing a lot by some of my forum posts... as for the sounding like I know what I'm talking about, I dunno... Jury may still be out on these forums about that. heh)

I'm glad I'm done with college now, though, since I was getting pretty tired of the kid's table shit and have wanted to start a career for awhile now. And now I work for an awesome company called PacifiCorp :D

Yea, generally 85% of any research paper is bullshit anyways, at least for me, thats what most professors expect anyways probably.

Only way to efficiently write paper is to wait 3 hours before the time it's due. At this point, you can type 10 pages per hour under pressure.

I can type 10 pages an hour when not under pressure, so how many would I type under pressure?

I beat you all, i can type 25 page an hour not under pressure, but i can garentee that 90% of it will be bullshit and repeating itself. I'm gonna get caught one of these days, none of my teacher check my reports they just make sure that you have a correct heading and format lol and that you did it $\:D/$
