I think what they're trying to say about the Notorious Monsters, given that they say "monster" in the post (refering to regular mobs) is that the NM's are special, and will continue to work the way they always have worked. Given, that you go and train it to zone, it'll still be at zone, and it'll continue to be zoned until it's either dead, or otherwise removed from the zone. Pretty much, the way they differentiate it is by refering to monsters as . . . Monsters! and Notorious Monsters as Notorious Monsters. . . so given that they say a "monster" will be catering to this rule, and that a "Notorious Monster" will not, then that kinda settles the arguement about Notorious Monsters having some new rule to them. They don't. So continue to have fun with NM's doing whatever floats your boat with them.

Well, the Bind thing should have taken care of a long time ago, so that's a positive.

Perhaps it does remove a bit of the realism, but I can't complain. MPK LS vs. LS drama bullshit has made hundreds of players quit in anger, so I'm glad that steps have been taken to reduce that number.

This wasn't about endgame, SE don't care about endgame people, this was for the new players that will be joining with XBox 360 so they don't quit after being trainned over and over in newb zones lol

While this will stop people from training spiders onto other LSs fighting Fafhogg in Aery for example. These changes will not stop "Marlboro Justice" from happening (skill upping on a Marlboro and making it bad breath the alliance fighting Fafhogg). People will find more exploits with which to kill eachother and ruin their overall online gaming experience. Just going to have to be more creative than binding a monster on someone or training them.

I dont really think this will stop spiders at Fafnogg, they're too close to him. But I don't think training a goobue to zone line would work.

This will stop spiders at Fafnir:

Quote:
This measure refers to the radius that the monster walks about when not engaged in battle. After being drawn out of that radius during battle and released, the monster will disappear, and then reappear after a short time in its proper location.

The spiders to do have a normal walking path in the pit

I don't quite understand why people are crying about the idea of losing claim on a kited monster/NM or having their NMs depop and all that nonsense. It specifically states that the monster will "depop" if you are KO'd or zone.

It also states "It will not begin attacking others in the surrounding area." which leads me to believe that they are talking about a monster that has deaggroed. If you were fighting it with an EXP party or an Alliance, it's going to run after those people with hate when one person dies, it's not just going to poof the moment someone's HP hits 0.

Also, it says the "exact same monster" will reappear, it wont be a new one, it will be the exact same one. Ie: The monster went invisible and walked home, it did not "depop" and it was not killed. The reason they did that was so that you couldn't train a bunch of monsters to a zone in order to spawn an NM that requires you to kill it's PHs.

The thing about not applying to NMs is saying that an NM will not disappear if you zone it, it will proceed to run around and attack people (assuming it aggros) just like they used to.

you took the words outta me ^^ reread the text people NMs are NOT affected buy this and you monster will only de-pop if you zone or are KO'd. I believe this is probably one of the best moves SE is going to have made in a while. I'm axious to see what the situation will be like at serket now :D

Considering how often monster deaggro, dying or zoning is the only way to get ride of a train.

It's because you said monster will "only" be teleported when you zone or die. I'm just wondering why you're saying "only" since those two situations cover every case where a mob has to walk.

I'm starting to wonder if deodorize will have a use, since it's the most efficient way to lose aggro >_>.

Or you could just krakken the malboro next to fafnir alliance.
